This is episode 5, not episode 1. Episode 1 seems to be entirely missing from youtube, which is a shame because it's quite good and an excellent starting pooint. It would be great if the person who posted these would correct this.
Thank-you all for your comments. I have been searching for the Ben Wishaw episode. I may never see it again - but I am so grateful that I did see it (all 8 fortunately) a few years back. (a free promo week for some platform I think?) I recall being incredibly moved by several of them (all were great!!) Particularly Ben Wishaw and Alan Cumming. They both had me in tears. I hope you will all have the opportunity to experience them. :) Hugs tg
This isn't the Man On The Platform - that was the wonderful Ben Wishaw as Perce, the sad but dignified soldier - a million miles away from this campery. This script seems to have been adapted from "Round The Horne" written by Barry Took and Marty Feldman, filched from the Julian and Sandy sketches.
