Putting aside the fact that Fionn is a phenomenal actor both in his body language and facial expressions and in the way he conveys emotion, can we all appreciate how well this is written?
Haha we have the same picture :D the first time I saw your comment I though “wtf, when did I wrote this?! I haven’t seen yet this video” haha but than I saw your name haha
It's a trip hearing him speak at length after seeing him in "Dunkirk," a film that doesn't rely heavily on dialogue, proof positive that he's a terrific actor in both spoken word and body language!
It’s been 4 years since I first watched this with joy and excitement for Fionn. I was 16, and found it ‘empowering’ for his character to experience this and savor independence. After being groomed myself, l can’t find myself to finish this clip with the same giddiness as my innocent, naive self used to. It’s funny just how much can happen in a few years that changes your perspective on everything.
Thank you, Fionn, for a brilliant performance of beautiful material. You were perfect. I'm 80 and you brought all the emotions of that first real experience back to me.
Yummy Sounds because it's hilarious 😂 I mean I love his heavy accent but, I'm not kidding, the "I've got a bit of falafel in me theet" bit and the "fookin fookin" part have both been stuck in my head ever since I first watched this 😂 idk why
I could listen to his voice all day and all night. It's so beautiful, deep, calm and the accent is so unique. We must protect Fionn at all costs 'cause he's so talented and precious :)
He seems totally natural. I am a hardcore Al Pacino,Leonardo DiCaprio fan.i havent seen Dunkirk but judging by this little video a star is born again and i cannot wait to follow his career.
Omg, why is he so beautiful? He is an excellent actor, and he sings, and he is very handsome and cute. Why i dont have such talented guys in my country?
Love this it's so incredible and interesting and Fionn is an amazing actor, I love the last sentence 'if they had made it 16 then I would have gone straight home' it just sums the whole thing up in one sentence and I love that
I love fionn but this is sad because it’s a piece written by a real then 17 yr old and this sexual exchange sounded like he wasn’t really ready/wanting for it :/ hope wherever he is now he’s found love, peace and happiness.
Yeah honestly I had to pause at 10:52 and catch a breather because the rapey vibes got a bit too upsetting for me It's not discussed enough within the community but the predatory older people that abuse younger boys and girls are a real problem Better now than in the decades past I'd like to hope but still, you know
Emily Robinson i know???? i'm saying that his yorkshire accent is good for someone from the south and that it's nice to hear a good and accurate yorkshire accent from a southerner????
so much talent and an incredible story. i’m really glad to idolise an actor who portrays stories such as this one, dunkirk or bandersnatch. thank you, fionn.
i want death Your comment makes me happy but your username makes me sad. Don't know if you really mean it, but please stay strong, there's a lot to live for :)
A talented young actor with great potential, a natural. Superb in front of the camera, who plays his character well. I haven't seen Dunkirk as yet but I'm looking forward to it. He and Harry Stylesseem to have a great chemistry together. Hope they have bonded and have a great friendship.PEACE!!
I have not gone through all through the posts, but most of them just seem to be about the actor. Hold on guys!! An actor is only as good as the material he has to act with. Michael Dennis wrote the words the actor worked with. And I consider myself very fortunate in working with him on a script some years ago. Bravo Michael!! And all of you should congratulate his writing as you do the actors performance. Oh, and just to let you all know that Michael used to be a massive Doctor Who fan. ;)
he was so wonderful in Dunkirk! and so genuine here. but did anyone catch what he said at the end there at 17:15? “Gatsbys, MGM at the first Monday of every month” what does that mean, is it British slang or ? like is that supposed to be a reference to gay culture in American cinema?
He's referring to be pleasantly surprised at seeing a public display of affection between a same sex couple in a pub the middle of the day. "Gatsby's" and "MGM the first Monday of every month" are gay clubs (or gay club nights) where he'd expect to see same sex couples being affectionate.
Fionn Whitehead could talk about the structural integrity of a paperclip for 3 hours and I'd be floored.
Lara Anderson I second this
SAME GIRL SAME
FACTS
Lara Anderson oh my god you are so correct about this
I always comeback to this comment for a good laugh haha
his voice is so relaxing
soft and neat your icon says it all
Great actor and please, never, ever change your perfect teeth!
Brian McManus Yes!!! LIKE TOM HARDY.
Yes! His teeth are imperfectly beautiful. Seriously hope he never changes them for real
Brian McManus yESS I LOVE IT
Agreed I hate the paper cutter look.
His teeth make him adorable
WHY DO I ALWAYS READ HIS NAME AS F-E-E-O-O-N, NOT F-I-N-N
Giirl same , and then I'm like b its FINNNNN
chop suey yes!! I like it better as "phee-on" tbh 😂😭 and I don't understand why does it have a silent "o".
maya. I KNOW like if the "O" is silent don't put it in his name i always forget 😂
Sara Stylinson you aren't the only one. I had that also
MY MOUTH SAYS FINN BUT MY HEART SAYS FEONN
Putting aside the fact that Fionn is a phenomenal actor both in his body language and facial expressions and in the way he conveys emotion, can we all appreciate how well this is written?
We have the same name but mines spelt differently
Favourite Worst nightmare one of my dogs has the same name
But spelt Finn
It's so good, feels like you're there with him, experiencing it first hand. It's so vivid.
who's rewatching this after bandersnatch?
🙋
Haha we have the same picture :D the first time I saw your comment I though “wtf, when did I wrote this?! I haven’t seen yet this video” haha but than I saw your name haha
@@anneneville6255 this has happened to me too lol I guess this cat is very popular
definetly me
Yeah so -_____-.
It's a trip hearing him speak at length after seeing him in "Dunkirk," a film that doesn't rely heavily on dialogue, proof positive that he's a terrific actor in both spoken word and body language!
He can ramble all day about whatever and I'll still want to hear it all. His voice is so soothing 😩
It’s been 4 years since I first watched this with joy and excitement for Fionn. I was 16, and found it ‘empowering’ for his character to experience this and savor independence. he's so good wtf it's so realistic and genuine
Thank you, Fionn, for a brilliant performance of beautiful material. You were perfect. I'm 80 and you brought all the emotions of that first real experience back to me.
Big fan of Fionn Whitehead! Can't wait to see what the future brings for him in film.
the future brings success to fionn because of his incredible acting in the amazing black mirror movie, bandersnatch
"if you could fookin see me now, fookin"
😂
Hahahah! why do people keep mentioning that? xD
Yummy Sounds because it's hilarious 😂 I mean I love his heavy accent but, I'm not kidding, the "I've got a bit of falafel in me theet" bit and the "fookin fookin" part have both been stuck in my head ever since I first watched this 😂 idk why
Yummy Sounds I wished I had that accent 😂😭
I could listen to his voice all day and all night. It's so beautiful, deep, calm and the accent is so unique. We must protect Fionn at all costs 'cause he's so talented and precious :)

He would be a great Holden Caulfield
Omg he would!
Cue that "heavy breathing" cat meme. YES! :D
Christa Edmonson yes! !
Ooh that is SUCH a good idea
I read Crime and Punishment, and he is my Rodion Raskolnikov
I did not know this Bandersnatch ending...
Lmao. 😂.
I am impressed. Wow. That's our Fionn.... so realistic.
ah his yorkshire accent yas boy u represent my home county ur doing us proud

his "fooking" kept reminding me of Louis Tomlinson.
I feel like he's looking right into my eyes :)
I feel I could watch Fionn talk forever about anything, really. Damn, what an amazing actor he is.
fionn, you're doing amazing sweetie
i want death Your comment makes me happy but your username makes me sad. Don't know if you really mean it, but please stay strong, there's a lot to live for :)
You can get lost in his eyes if you look closely for too much.
The story that he's telling makes me sad but Fionn is the best
I think is typical experience of everyone who's are in the beginning of their discovering who they are, Fionn is definitely gifted.
Thank you so much for uploading this. What a tremendous young star he is. He blows me away. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
the kid is talented!
His voice is so pretty😍
fookin fookin
ysa tepait exactly 😂😂
just informing, this is not Fionn's experience. He wasn't even alive. It's non-fiction of gay men in 1994 :)
no shit :O
@@DemiKrueger Some people might think it's real
Ok so is he straight in real life?
This whole series was amazing--but this was my favourite.

Amazing young man !
WAIT WHAT HIS VOICE SOUNDS SO DIFFERENT IN BANDERSNATCH I-...?
*He would've been a huge star by now if he wasn't so shy. But maybe that's why i like him. He's not after fame.*
We are watching you on Netflix
