If I could master that 14 minute lesson and actually duplicate all the content Andy demonstrated, my guitar skills would immediately jump to the next level of expertise. Those 14 minutes will probably take months to digest...and regurgitate.
Holy jeez...I've really pigeonholed myself by just trying to learn "fancy" or "exotic" Paul Gilbert/John Petrucci shred licks...this is some tasty stuff Andy!
After learning this you really don’t know it until you can play in open E, A, B7 also open A, D, E7 There all same 1, 4, 5 chords different keys G, C, D7. Even if you play G7,C7, D7 all dominant 7 chords.
Holy Sht.. I can't think of ever seeing a better put together class in preparation for how you will spend 90% of your time in a Blues band. Kudos to Andy & Truefire.
I've been practicing this lesson for two days now and am really enjoying the ideas. Been playing for a long time now but have never been comfortable using my thumb. I'm really happy to have tried it now because the ideas that Andy covered really sound great! Thanks for this video, it's much appreciated.
Reminds me of when I was learning to play from friends. Just jamming in the living room even late hours on a school night. haha. There's something for everyone here. At first I was expecting more, then I thought he was showing stuff just for the beginners. But as he progressed he really delivered something for all of us guitarists.

Wish it was slower
He's top of the list. I don't think he's underrated, and if so it'll be for those without much knowledge. ..great musician and great lesson, yes!
😎😎😎😎Nice how Andy so effortlessly plays that Hendrix 13. Im going to have to get a cortizone shot after practicing that for the last hour. 😎😎😎😎
I could listen to Andy play to a backing track all day. He is one of the most expressive and dynamic players I have ever seen.
thats the best 12 bae lesson ever
Wow! What a great lesson, so much musicality packed in such a seemingly simple sequence of chords.
This is one serious yet simple yet ultimately effective blues guitar lesson. Thanks Andy.
Has to be the best 12 bar blues lesson out there. Everything from beginner to advanced. Great player.

This has got to be THE best video for blues chords I have seen. You show so many different chords and ways to play them. Thank you so much
This lesson thought me more than 10 other youtube videos together, thank you Andy!
