    Nice vid mate. I do lots of content on car leasing and car finance. For me the best way to get into a new car is ALWAYS by leasing / PCH. If you want finance on something used go for a personal loan. Simples.

    Am thinking about a new Tesla when I next change, have always paid cash in the past but was thinking PCP or lease next time around so this really helped a lot. Thanks for a very clear explanation of the differences.

      Hey Ian, your very welcome, glad you found the video helpful. What Tesla are you going for? I had a road test in a model 3 performance the other day and I can’t stop wanting one now lol.

      @@CarChatTVHi, am thinking Standard Range + .... much as I’d love the Performance it’s a bit beyond my budget as I retired recently and had an expensive divorce late in life. Don’t really need the Long Range either as most of my driving is local. Have had a number of performance cars in the past, TVR’s, Porsche etc so thinking the Tesla ticks a lot of boxes but will also make a good daily. A friend who’s had a lot of really high end cars has one and reckons it’s the best car he’s ever owned. Thanks again for the video, it really helped a lot. Cheers.

      Yes a very good choice. You will absolutely love it. I found the charging so easy as well. Sounds like you have had some very nice cars. Was great chatting to you. Hope you enjoy the Tesla 🤗

    hi Oliver I am 30 months into my 48 month contract for my Mercedes’ a class, it’s GFV is around £8975 in February 2024 at the end of the contract I have the money in my bank now to buy it, do I have to buy off the remaining 18 months then pay for GFV ? Or can I just pay the £8975 to buy it??

    • @CarChatTV
      @CarChatTV  2 года назад +1

      Hi Ben, thanks for the message and great question. You will probably have to pay the remaining 18 months and then the GFV as well, as the finance company will be missing out on 18months of payments (spread equity in the car) and interest. You might make some minor savings on interest now if you settle. I would ask them what the cost would be if you were to settle now and when they give you a figure you can decide if that’s the decision for you. You also have to pay more interest on the final payment plus sometimes an admin charge of £150 to cover transfer of ownership. I hope this helps. Good luck 🤗 thanks for sharing.

    What size deposit would you need to place on a lease car? Also do you still need to pay Road tax/ Insurance etc?

    • @CarChatTV
      @CarChatTV  Год назад

      Hey thanks for the comment. You can choose what you put down with leasing. You can choose to pay no deposit upfront and your monthly payments will be more. But you can choose a payment profile and play around with it. Maybe 3 months, 6 months up front all depends on what suits you. Some deals now will include insurance too and road tax should always be covered with new lease cars as well. Hope this helps. 🤗
