Headlight removal without cussing for Fiesta ST

- Removing your headlights is usually "step 1" for many under-the-hood mods for your Fiesta ST - whether it's installing hood props, an intercooler, a turbo, or motor mounts, you'll need those headlights off. There are guides that include a "how-to" for this but many find it frustrating because there are some particulars that can get you hung up, and they aren't explained in the guides. I've removed mine a few dozen times and I thought it would be helpful to show some of my PRO TIPS on headlight removal/install to make it easier for others.
Enjoy! Thanks for watching! - Наука
Solved my problem within a minute, thanks so much! People like you are the backbone of our society :)
Man thanks that's a good word very encouraging glad to help.
This was a major help, this made the job a lot easier when I've never removed them before, especially the slide action part. Thanks for the vid
Sure thing!!
This the best fiesta ST headlight removal video ever. Every other video out there just dont go into detail like u did. 👍
Awesome, hope it helps!!!
This is the most useful video I've seen on this subject. Thx.
Thank you! Was struggling to get mine back in
Great help, still managed to snap the white clip at the bottom
very helpful tips for Ford fiesta.. thank you for this review bro.
As usual, clear, concise, precise and professional. Your FiST is nice and shiny!
Thank you sir! Hope this helps folks. The main thing that all the installs I've seen don't point out is the tab on the light itself closest to the cockpit, and the white moveable tab that the light locks into...knowing about those will make install easy and save you from breaking the tabs like so many have. And cussing.
Thanks for the video, very helpful
Thx for the tip on sliding the headlight up
Thank You. Very Quick and Simple Tutorial. Great Work
Glad it helped.
I'm glad you told me about that white clip all good now 👍
I have a very scientific beer to cuss word ratio when working on cars. Super helpful. For science of course.
You are a life saver! Thanks so much for this video!
:)
thanks Jeff. Super helpful. If you ever apply for sainthood, I can attest to your good works ;-))
You are welcome Mike! Good works won't get me to heaven, I need Jesus to ransom me, I am all rot and filth.
Great details!! Thx!
Apparently I'm not able to remove the 3rd bolt (the retainer clip) anymore, I think I messed that one up the first time I removed the Headlight.. Should I get it out with a clip removal tool and replace it with a new one or are there other methods to get it out?
Man you just saved my headlight from going on the street. Can't thank you enough!
Glad to help!!!
Thanks
Great video, I remembered struggling like heck when I swapped my fmic
Thanks! Hopefully it will help someone avoid that struggle! If you don't know what you're doing the headlights can be the worst part!
*Where did you get that X47" emblem on your engine cover?*
I bought the letters on eBay .99 each and made my own.
Since you mentioned them... Tell me about the hood struts. I've looked around your videos, did I miss the one you did on them?
I REALLY want to do that mod (to my '17 ST). I did find an outfit in England that has the strut kits, but wasn't sure if there would be any issues with a U.S. Fiesta.
Best, Robert

Thanks so much. I have a kit on the way. Also, I didn't realize I needed the Fomoto Valve..until I saw your video. ;-)
It's very nice for oil changes!!!
What's that intake box???
I still can’t get my headlight out, it slides up but seemingly not enough for the clip at the top to pop out and I didn’t want to break it but I pushed as hard as I could and it wouldn’t go far enough
You might just need to hold your breath and apply more strength. I tend to be too delicate as I'm scared I'm going to break something (because I have often). Sometimes you just have to manhandle it.
Mine doesn't budge. Does not move at all. I can tell the po tried to get it off as well but couldn't. Cause the bumper is scratched lol I for the love of God could not get it off
“No cussing” hahahaahhaaha
"that click is normal" something broke while I did that lol, guess the click was infact not normal
The click is normal, it happens when the headlight pops in and out of the bracket underneath it. You likely broke something and heard a different click.
I really hope there is cursing in here...
