Fortunate enough to have scored one. It’s great bourbon. This bottle takes quintessential bourbon notes to an elegant space.
Well worth the $250-$300 but nothing more. Bourbon of the year contender…although this is truly the year of the rye.

Thanks for the review, I’m seeing it at my local store for close to what I think is srp in the area (San Fran) so might pull the trigger. You said there are any great bottles at$250 range, what would be some of your must pickups in place of this one?

Hey @jalee408. The Jack Daniel’s 10 and 12 year, or any of their barrel proof bourbons for that matter, would be a good substitute.
The 10 and 12 are about $200,
The barrel proofs are around $70.
Try the Elijah Craig barrel proofing stuff as well for about $65.

Congratulations on getting the bottle! I've been trying to find it at MSRP but haven't had any luck it's always $500 plus. I haven't even been able to get a sample of it.
