I just want to say to people who watch and feel emotional when they do watch dance, please stop saying you "know nothing about dance"! It's not a prerequisite to enjoy it :) Very few of us make dance for dance critics, we make it to reach people no matter how much they know or don't know.
Absolutely! Can’t like this enough, it’s surely the task of the artist to transcend the form, whatever it is, and go straight to the audience. Well said.
hello fella. thom yorke here. i am eating a MAYO sandwich haha geddit lol just aving a little joke wiv you . Fanks for the review. loved it. lets meet up for coffee some time.
@James Kenworthy, I can't reply to your reply, maybe you deleted, but you put up a Morrisey video a year ago on your feed, so it makes sense you're a racist anyway. So your opinion doesn't count either.
@@madmaniac2552 I didn't like it, and I tried to keep an open mind, genuinely, but it sounded like a whole lot of random discordant noise to me, sorry.
@@RPSJaguarSkills I have plenty of great music in my life, thanks very much! Non of whose artists contribute to an apartheid control over another people, denying their dignity, civil rights and human rights (don't believe me, believe Amnesty International) and I can sleep well at night after the music is switched off. How about you?
the Anima is the unconscious feminine side of a man. Animus is the unconscious masculine side of a woman.
NERD!!!
Cheers

Lobsters intensifies
Killer reply at the end Mr Mayo.
It was worth watching the whole review for that throwaway gag
so quick!
Hearing Mark say ‘yeah it’s bangin’ made my day

It is actually brilliant. I urge everyone to go and watch it because you won’t watch it only once.
"... I have no sense of rhythm." says the bass player :D
Mayo's gag at the very end good lord
The final line by Mr M, is genius :-)
quality Ultravox joke.
The middle section of this short is just fantastic!
What movie does Mark reference at 4:25?
Mark does has rhythm and has to being a double bass player.
It just occurred to me, Simon looks like JFK is he wasn't killed.
I'd argue ANIMA is actually one of the best films of the year

Is red shoes a remake of an Iranian film?
The guerrilla marketing campaign for this film was awesome.
Mayo strikes again at the end
So how is it compared to The Exorcist?
1984 meets thriller. Nice.
David Farnsworth Ha. The two references I thought of too.
Wouldn't you just want to spend an evening in the pub with these two?
Wow that was a wild trip
Hang on, is Anima not Yorke's music album? What's this about it being a film?
It's both!
That awkward moment when you can't be bothered look up what anima means and you're reviewing it.
Mayo wasn't reviewing it though
THomogenous Yorke
Supports apartheid.
It was good. I liked the music, the sets, and......the dancing actually. It was trippy.
OMG , I so get this , ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ genius Pure GENIUS, Truly AMAZING 😯😯😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Fom York
It's Sam Lowry that gets covered in newspapers, not Harry Tuttle/Buttle.
Nope, it's Tuttle/Buttle who gets covered in newspapers and disappears beneath them
Fom?.....
Mark Kermode looks like he has aged 20 years within a year... Hope he’s doing ok.
it’s called getting older
Got thirty seconds in and couldn’t take it.
boy was it boring.
@@Nonesovile96 It didnt elicit that strong a feeling, but I can imagine someone who is already unstable wanting to after seeing Anima.
Thom Yorke supports apartheid and when the activists begged him not to in Glasgow, he gave them the middle finger. He's completely uninteresting now.

Well he’s not completely uninteresting because he is actually rather interesting.

If you pick your favourite musicians based on how well rounded and reasonable they are in day to day life, you must live in a very quiet house.
