I just started collecting cards from my childhood & just finding some old ocg exclusive cards is always exciting, even if they can be pretty cheap, just finding vol.1 cards, even commons, is always really exciting for me 😊

I’m definitely a vintage collector. Mainly DM era with a slight sprinkle of GX and 5ds. I only have two starlights in the collection now but may grab more starlights and may grab a binder page worth of collector’s rares soon. Congrats on finally picking up the CED!!!
I collect new cards I have a few vintage but I don't seek them out. The rarity collection is somthing good for the casual collectors. Collectors who just just collect for monetary gain are the ones who hate the new sets because it basically kills the price of whatever high rarity cards they might have.
Crazy, I was l literally thinking about this all day with the release of all this 25th anniversary product and with a down market it can become difficult for collectors and investors allocate their funds.
The double sleeves I use are often too thick for putting cards on both sides of the binder page. By skipping, I avoid stretching the plastic of the binder page.
I bought some 25th legendary collection promos, the God cards etc and they look magnificent. So then I bought like €100 worth of 25th tin promos and they look like trash. Same rarity and yet so different, way less sparkly, way more flat and dark. Is it just me? It ruined all my plans for a new binder so as of right now I'm too traumatized to collect anything lol
I noticed that, the exodia the forbidden one is not as shiny as the Japanese one in this video. The tins 25th promo is not as good as the legendary 25th collection promo or speed duel promo in terms of shine.
@@timetravel6913 Great to have it confirmed, thanks. I'm honestly super mad about it, I already laid out my binder to store the new cards but they're just so different I rather spend that money on multiple copies of the God Cards from the legendary collection, it's so sad to me...
I honestly disagree with you a bit on the fact that theres a whole world out there for yugioh collecting like hard to get sets, or vintage cards from when you started playing ghost rares, retro packs sealed boosters or sets... 2 weeks ago i saw a guy that had a Master collection of all secret rares 1st edition lob-lodt dm to gx era 3 yata, 3 gaia the dragon champion 3 dmg, 3 necroface 3 magic formula it was mind blowing. If youre playing the long game like most of us just stick to something that when you look at it, it makes you smile. Great video!

What is your binder setup? Like the type of zip binder when you have the 3 ring option inside and the removable pages?
