@@PARANOID2713 I’ll take a look!
How about with the Good luck babe on the chorus, I struggle with that so much!, these are great tips!
@@anapatricia96610 To keep it light swap out the g for a mostly k sound and the b for a mostly p sound. “Kood luck pabe” The audience will still compute the actual words but it will make it easier to keep it light with the voiceless consonants above.
Amazing! Will give it a go. Liked and subscribed!! 💙💙
@@anapatricia96610 Thanks!!
what about the end of the song, when she slows down the tempo and then the last line is low. What are the tips from transitioning from falsetto to a low note
Hey! I just went back and listened the section you were talking about. This is one of those ‘studio magic’ things. If you listen again, you’ll hear that the high part overlaps the low. This means those were recorded in different takes and so the switch wasn’t required. However, if it’s a live situation when I have to make quick switches like that, I would practice going from sing to speak. I would sing the top and then speak the bottom lyrics in rhythm so that I feel the vocal gear shift happen. Then once I felt comfortable with the switch, I would add some more “sing” to the speak at the bottom. You can also try making a donkey sound. It’s the same kind of vocal switch. Hope this helps! 🤘🏻
😅 "donkey sound", I don't even know what that is, but context made it figure outable. Obv the reverse of a yodel, going from falsetto to full, love it! thank you, i'll never forget donkey sound for the rest of my life!☺
@@bettyspinks5366 I’m here to serve. 😂😂😂😂😂
wow this is very helpful thanks! i still have trouble holding the high voice in th "good luck babe!" part, any tip for that? thanks
You’re welcome! I would check in with airflow. When we do light and breathy it actually requires more air than usual. Increase your core support (think move your belly button to your backbone) and play with varying degrees of increasing the air (10%, 20%, etc.) until you get to a formula that feels like it works.
