944Spec race NASA Willow Springs International Raceway April 24 2024

Great race with Kalem Fletcher in 944Spec at WSIR in SoCal. Lap 4 is the new track record for our class at this track. I set the previous track record 11 years ago in this same month.
The track was repaved last year and the conditions all fell into place for this to happen just like 11 year's ago. It rained the previous day so the track was nice and clean. The air was cold so the HP was at its best. We are limited to 142 rear wheel HP. Not much compared to new cars. The wind was blowing but the ground was damp so no sand was blowing on the track. It even started to rain on the last lap.
Thanks for a great race Kalem! Even though he only makes 2 appearances in this race he was on my bumper most of this race applying pressure and hoping far a big mistake. I fully trust him and I believe he trusts me too!
