So impressive! You are my Dutch teacher I've determined. You present your lessons in a typical Dutch way, which itself can be part of the lesson. :) The subtitle in both English and Dutch helps a ton - I've heard from my friends who had Dutch language teachers doing the same thing -- they start to speak more and more in Dutch in teaching Dutch from an early stage, and my friends couldn't keep up or understand most of the lesson. But here with the English subtitle, the problem is solved. I'm going to watch all your videos! Dank u wel!

Ik ben begonnen met boeken in nederlands voor kinderen te lezen en daarna heb ik een e reader gekocht om nederlands boeken te kopen of lenen en je kan ook gewoon in een click woorden dat je niet kent vertalen. Als je bepaalde Kobo e readers koopt kan je ook boeken lenen van de bibliotheek. Soms moet je het eerste downloaden op Adobe digital editions op je computer en plaatsen op je e reader maar het is makkelijk om te doen.

My son wants to learn my mother tongue during the pandemic, this helps...
I like the idea with Dutch subtitles even if your pronunciation is very good and clear for students. The way you create the lessons is original (want daar gaat het tenslotte om) In this way I find you more interesting than Doutzen Kroes 😉

And yes... it's something I cannot change unfortunately, because the burned-in captions in my video cannot be moved higher or lower, nor can the ones in RUclips itself en they sometimes overlap. But I don't want to add Dutch and English both in my videos, because a lot of people want to practice learning Dutch without seeing the English subtitles all the time :) Have a nice day and good luck!
I always get confused with "hoe" because it is pronounced like "who" but it actually means "how" 😣 For example the question "hoe ben je?" has a completely different meaning if you translate it wrong 🤦🏻♀️

Hoi Kim! Ik ben benieuwd: HOEVEEL taken spreek je? Ik heb eens het vraagwoordje "wiens" gezien. Wordt het nog vaak gebruiken in het Nederlands?
Ik spreek 2 talen vloeiend (Nederlands en Engels) en ook een beetje Spaans en Duits. En jij? En ja we gebruiken soms nog “wiens”! Ik houd van dat woord!
Ja, ik vind het woordjie ook soms handig, maar ik zie het niet zo vaak. Ik spreek Afrikaans en Engels vloeiend, en ook een beetje Xhosa. En dan ook een beetje Nederlands, natuurlik. Je spreekt echt zo duidelijk Nederlands mijn non-dutchie (Afrikaans) vrienden kijken ook naar je videos!
Ja je hoort “wiens” inderdaad niet vaak. Maar bijvoorbeeld wel als je vraagt “wiens idee is dat”? En wat leuk dat je vrienden ook kijken!!
