Create a problem (e.g. remove the charger), and then sell the solution. Or offer an inferior product, and let people pay more for the premium one. Most tech companies have followed this approach for the past few years, and they do it because the consumers will still buy their products, and because it maximizes profit.
@@MesudSarmanlu I don't think that iphones came with a 3-in-one charger in the box stop complaining our phones are so much better than they were 10 yrs ago, tech is getting better than ever
This is worth $150 for the convenience of not needing three separate chargers for my iPhone, watch and AirPods. It’s perfect for my side table. Definitely interested
I have been using this exact charger for a just over a week now beside my bed at night. Previously I had a much cheaper combo charger from amazon. Worked OK, but getting the wireless charge lined up at night with the lights off was frustrating. this thing has been so much nicer for the magsafe alone.
@@nely199622 Yes I would say so. I mostly just use it at night but occasionally will charge something during the day to shower, etc. and am pleasantly surprised with how much charge I get in that short amount of time.
Verizon is currently selling the older stand model for $112 for anyone interested. We have 3 of these around our house and have been very happy with them. If I’m traveling I just take the fast charge puck that came with the watch and charge my phone in the car. The new flat version is a disappointment for me but opinions and needs will vary.
I bought a cheap version from amazon and dies a few months later. Bought this welkin for $150 and right away I can tell its built to last....very happy w it
I bought the Apple-Watch-only Belkin Boost Charge with their new Apple Watch Series 7 Fast Charging and I gonna say it really did deliver great charging speed to the watch charging 78% in 40 minutes. To compare with, the price of the Belkin is still less than the official Apple Watch Charging Dock (which do not have fast charging). The build quality is solid, while also supporting different watches w/wo some third party Apple Watch cases. It's pricy but I would still say it's worthy
Hi, I saw a review of a guy here saying that his Watch 7 started to charge slowly after the initial charge... did you experience anything like that? Is it still working as it should? Thanks!
Hi, I am a UK viewer of your video.Everyone talks about FAST, but what is meant by that. All three are charged in an hour, each one on its own in half an hour etc. It has to be measured against something. When do you know when a product is charged, particularly if all three were on charge. Any light or noise alert to tell you this. I have only used one so called FAST charger, and found the charging cables supplied with the product were faster. In my experience, they are only trickle chargers, best for overnight charging. I would welcome your comments. Many thanks. Terry Davis
Honestly, with my personal needs if I was going to get either of these I’d just get the older model with the floating design. I don’t really go anywhere (even before the pandemic) &if I needed additional charging I have a mini cable for just about any device so if I REALLY wanted to I could just use those or my portable battery. Again, this is just for ME. While I’d love to have the latest and greatest of all apple devices, I realize that I’m an entry level consumer, I don’t necessarily need to have fast charging for my watch or portability because the most portable it’d be is from my bedroom to my living room 😅 thank you for this video, I had seen this charger on apple’s website and way curious about it
Thank you for your review of the Belkin Boost Charge Pro. I received an Apple watch 7 for Christmas, and quickly realized I needed a new charging station for my new watch. I ordered the new Belkin Boost Charge Pro from Apple and I have been very pleased with the speed of charging my iPhone, iPod, and watch. I had not considered the portability of the station, but that is a plus as well.
I've been waiting for a magsafe 3 in 1 fast charger like this for months, never wanted the floating design because of travelling, but then they ruin it with the barrel connector and bulky wall plug. just another thing to get lost or break that I'm sure costs $49 to replace.
the old 3 in 1 is the perfect thing for your desk or bedside table at home, the new one, although it seems like the best travel charger so far its still too big so i'd rather travel with a lightning cable ( I like to travel with just 1 backpack)
Just bought an Apple iWatch Series 8 and I already have Airpods Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Every time I buy something, it's the craziness of looking for all the "stuff" that goes with it and trying to decipher which is best. Looking for an all in one to charge all and was going nuts on Amazon as well as other sites. GREAT video and explanation which helped me make my decision! Subscribed to your channel today. Thanks again! BTW, I do believe I just bought the same watch you showed in your video! Can't wait to get it! Hopefully I can figure it out by watching your channel.
This new charger looks good for travel and better than the Apple duo charger I bought. But for daily charging it would be hard to beat the Belkin tree hanging charger. Yeah big bucks but I like it better than any other option I've seen so far. So glad I can still charge through the Apple leather case after removing the wallet. Spendy toys but still way cool.
The only reason why I would not buy this is because it does not have magsafe for the AirPods. This would’ve been perfect if they had duo MagSafe and the Apple Watch puck charger.
@@Dreadpirateflappy Not really. The groove for the AirPods could utilise magnets. If you have AirPods without MagSafe you would still be able to leave your AirPods inside the groove. Only difference is that people with MagSafe would get help using the magnets to ensure best possible alignment, while those without MagSafe wouldn't. Just like you can use MagSafe for iPhone's without MagSafe. You just don't get the magnet alignment and faster charging, but you can still use a MagSafe charger to wirelessly charge a non-MagSafe iPhone.
I just purchased an Apple Watch 8 and charged from about 40% to 100% with the included charger attached to the USB C 60 W on my PC while drinking coffee so full charge was about 20 min. Am looking though for something that can charge my iPhone 13 Pro Max, Apple Watch 8 and Air pods when I get them all at once each day while drinking my morning coffee and the Boost Charge Pro seems like a good possibility. Like the Watch pop up idea. Like the travel capability.
What if Apple provide the firmware/OS for Watch so we use standard wireless charger or MagSafe to charge both devices. It is clearly a rip off by all the companies and dramatically increase carbon footprint. Technologies makes life easy but we are going opposite and sometimes defending our purchases but in my opinion we all know what is wrong. To me caring two wireless chargers (Magsafe+Watch charger) is more convenient than caring the plate like platform. Just tie the two cables with cable ties etc. It also takes far less space as well.
It seems like the Apple Watch series 7 should in theory charge 33% faster on both the 3 in 1 Belkin chargers you had on display. Since the fast charging technology is within the coils of the Apple Watch series 7.
Great informative video, thanks. If you don’t own an Apple Watch, can you use its charging point for charging another item, for example another phone, or is that charging point only compatible with the Apple Watch please?
Yeah, the pad fits the bag but I think you forgot the PSU. The weight and volume of the pad+psu is heavier than a powerbank with cables that can charge all three. Most important, if you will use it for travel, shouldn't the charge time be fast? The only highlight of fast charge here is for the apple watch, disregarding that the phone gets charged very slow while getting a bit too warm (wouldn't pay for an iphone grill).
it's got magsafe, meaning it charges the phone fast too at 15w. obviously a cable is quicker, but these stands are never going to be used for people who want cable charging.
Hello and thank you for this great video… I have two iPhones, 13 max pro and 13…can this device accommodate charging both of my phones? Thank you in advance
I think the flatness of it could make it ideal for a car 3 in 1 as well. I have a Belkin standing 3 in 1 on my desk at work, and that’s pretty nice, it saves me desk real estate since it’s footprint is elevated. But I think it’s kind of too much to have something like that in the livingroom, or in a car. Oddly enough I done have a 3 in one in my bedroom… 🤔
You could not stomach the price of the MagSafe Duo but you are completely fine paying $150 for the Belkin charger? Have you owned the MagSafe Duo? In the video you say that you bought a similar product from another manufacturer. I own two of the MagSafe Duo chargers and they are extremely reliable. Once the watch is charged, your phone can continue charging at 14 watts, but you say that the Belkin charger is better because it charges at 15 watts? I would be interested to know what is the real-life difference.
So I bought this right when it came out and I returned it after a day. Opening this up, I felt disappointed immediately. I will say I am biased because I expect a lot if I am spending $150 but this did not give me a wow factor. This takes up more space than the stand version, does not have magsafe for the new Airpods, and does not come with a carrying case. I highly recommend the Apple Duo Charger because it is portable, though it does not come with an adapter you are getting a premium charger with portability and efficiency.

Just bought this charger a few days ago. No matter which way I position the AirPods on the middle pad, I can't seem to get a charge or get the LED to light up. I"m guessing this is a faulty device and I need to return or am I missing something?
I really wish they reused the coat rack style for the new one. The only reason I got this one over the old one is because I have the Apple Watch Series 7. But how much faster is 33% in real time minutes ? If it's not that significant I might just return it and get the old model
Belkin has updated the older stand 3-in-1 model to also support fast charge for the Apple Watch. Only difference between the two 3-in-1 chargers at this point is their design. Flat and more portable vs stand. One benefit of the flat one, besides portability is the support for nightstand mode on the watch. The orientation of the watch on the stand model won't allow for the watch to enter nightstand mode. And with iOS 17 we get nightstand on iPhone as well and that won't be useable on the flat one at all as you wouldn't be able to see your iPhone's display. A lot of arguments to be hand for choosing the stand model over the flat one if portability is not important to you.
Is it a third party charger or an apple authorised??? The reason i ask this, is to know whether the battery health of the apple devices will take a hit if i charge it with this charger.. Thanks in advance for you answer.
What about fast charging and wireless charging versus battery health detoriation? Since I went back to 5W wired charging my battery health goes down with about 0.5%/month instead of -1.5% with fast charging or MagSafe charging.
Yeah this is pretty important, I think all the fast chargers can do a little bit of damage to the batteries, but I’ve noticed the best way around that is to just charge between 40 and 80% instead of 0 to 100%, usually by doing that the battery doesn’t get stressed and doesn’t lose capacity
I’d prefer to buy the new one but I really need to use my phone while working on my workstation so can I charge my new airpods pro if I decide to place the charger at a 45 degrees angle? I mean my new Airpods pro are the ones with magsafe but dies this new charge have magnets to hold the airpods at an angle?
I have an Anker that I keep my XR on that is used for work, because I use a headset through the port. It’s slow but will at least charge brought to be on a phone call with the screen on.
