I hope you feel better soon. Ulcerative colitis is rubbish, I have referred pain, but I think SIBO or bile acid malabsorption explains it. No one really has any idea, just trial and error all the time to get through. UC for over 20 years, several biologicals, recent Ustekinumab; made me feel unwell for three years. Started other medications made me feel stressed and anxious. Stopped biologicals for a couple of months and feeling more like myself first time for years. I know it is risky. Your whiteboards are really good and informative. oh I have gone carnivore, vegetable and fruits I am having trouble with.

Carnivore replacing the biologists? I'm on Ustekinumab too and feel like crap, it's not helping my colitis at all either

@@Happyantix112 I have not done this deliberately, I had two tips when in hospital a few months ago from other patients, one was carnivore diet and another trying slippery elm, I like both. I had to stop my last medication, Ozanimod, as I felt that I was losing my independence, I was so stressed and anxious. I am probably going to relapse before long and will need to take another, do hope not though. I had a lot of side effects with Ustekinumab but kept going with it, wish I hadn't now. Trouble swallowing was one side effect that was not good. I had relapses on Ustekinumab too.

I have heard other people mention slippery elm, I have not tried this myself but think I will look into it for sure.

@@jacobsIBD Quercetin is unreal. It prevents any allergic reactions from occurring in the body. Research it. Very high quality supplement. I believe it’s crucial for UC and any other condition.

Hey mate. Have you been alright lately? Hope you’re all good bro.
I enjoy your videos as they are educative and provide quality information into the life of having UC. It’s definitely a journey to live with UC but as long as it’s under control then everything will be fine.🙏🏼

@@jacobsIBD awesome, glad to know. Get better soon. Thank you, I'm well. Just focusing on eating really well consistently.

btw I am not saying I had stopped biologicals deliberately, they have kept me going for many years. I will most probably continue to use another when needed. As well as grass fed meat, that I eat when I can, I had slippery elm recommended to me and this I like.

can you make a video on training/working out with UC?

I can do a video specifically on that. I recently did put out a video with my favourite exercises in it: ruclips.net/video/ImhnYcCp3pQ/видео.htmlsi=uvOPjJzWKthGktkS

perhaps a 'whiteboard' about sleep, insomnia, sleep hygiene, importance of sleep etc you may have already touched on this unsure. Socialising and managing friends and family who don't understand. Hidden illness and issues with this. just some ideas, you may have already done all of this

Thanks! Those are some great ideas, I will make a note of them.
