    I really don't understand why the UK bothers with a grading system when a building of enough importance to it's style can't be altered but also not being important enough to save it from being left for the slow death if dereliction

      GV II
      Country house. 1787-90, early C19 additions. For and largely by Count Horace St. Paul. West wing added 1870
      this was taken from historic England web-site
