2018 Softail Streetbob Two Brothers Exhaust Walkaround

- Опубликовано: 9 сен 2024
- The new 2018 Streetbob has a new Softail Frame which lighter and stiffer resulting in better handling, leans and quicker acceleration. My first Harley was a 2014 Dyna Streetbob and also had the 2016 Low Rider S. Out of the three, this definitely handles the best. When it comes to power, the 107 Cu in is plenty of power along with the Phase I Two Brothers Exhaust! Let me know what you think and if you have any questions or suggestions hit me up!
That seat really pulls the lines of that bike together
Small world. I live right around the corner from you. I’ve got a blue street bob if you see my cruising
You did it right, Kept it simple and clean. install the stage 2 with torque cam down the road and you'll be amazed at the new power. Ride safe brother.
WillyG64 thx bro!
Nice ride. My Street Bob was just delivered today. I love it already.
Rick Castillo thank you! Ride safe brother
its killing me man. i just got a 2018 fatbob but god i love this bike. my local dealer didnt have this when i went looking to trade in and i feel like i should have waited. this is a beast
irishmisfitmoto all good bro! I’ve seen some nice set up with the 18 Fatbob. You can have the same stage one set up. For your bars, I’ve seen one with 6-8” risers that was pretty bada**
and here I wish I got a Fat Bob instead of a Street Bob
Krazed Rider both great bikes. Fat Bob has its specific customers. Likewise, Street Bob has hers. Different riding styles.
@@MeTimeBayArea The thing is... I have trouble reaching the handle bar with my arms (i'm 5'7"). Even with the Saddlemen Step up, I have to slip forward to do slow maneuver (full u turn, etc). I find Fat Bob's seat helps reduce reach, making the stock bar seems comfortable.
There seems to be no reduced reach risers for the 107 Street Bob anywhere. I have seen video with people changing removing the stock mini-ape and replace with the breakout's stock handle bar instead - i'm not sure if I have to bend forward even more?
Was also considering getting a RSD 6.5 or 4.5 pro-step handle bar .... but not sure if that would solve the problem
Any advice?
Krazed Rider if you still have the stock bars, have you tried moving the bars closer to you? You can loosen the four bolts around the tachometer/gauge.
Congrads Nice FXBB. We bought from Jim Hill and the guys at Rocklin /Folsom HD in 2016 and 2017. They are stand up cool guys. Nice saddlemen stepup seat. The fairing is a must on the FXBB. We own a 2018 FXBB and FLSL if you notice any oil leaks from valve cover. Take it into dealer have them do a new rocker box valve gasket set. We had to do ours at 1k on fxbb and 250 miles on flsl milwaukee 8
That seat looks much better than the original. I’m looking for the fairing as well
The sound of the exhaust is very close to a V8 big block 383... awesome.
I'm guessing this is a joke
@@JackMurphy1 not a joke. Of course it is not exactly the same, but it is the closest I could find. ruclips.net/video/ajdVErzgnsc/видео.html
She clean bro I’m thinking about getting one myself
LAX Rider88 thx bro! You should!!
Exactly how I want my bob! Picking one up soon. Over the Low Rider S 😆 bit too expensive
Andreas_XSR have fun and ride safe 🤙🏽
love this set up
Daniel Cuccio thank you!
Guys at Rocklin Harley are good dudes
Bought a bike in Rocklin about two months ago! Excellent dealership
I might be working there next month come by and ask for Ace 🤙🏽
MeTimeBayArea As sales or a tech?
And will do brother
Domonic Lambo sales
Hey Brother, I meant to ask you if adding those pipes voided your warranty? Also what tuner did you use?
Really nice, i have the same but stock, i'm thinking about new exhaust, yours sounds great, thx for the vid
wescobts thanks man! Ride safe!!
I’m jealous! Have the same bike (olive gold) and want a tbr pipe! Very cool man! Ride that bad mother effer!
Thanks bro! Ride safe and God bless!
Nice and clean
Did the saddleman seat push you closer to the bars?
It did just a little
Everything is great but...no fan of the digital gauge, sorry
I wish they puta bigger tank and better gauge in the street bob. Still cool bike though
Dam bro, you have the bike I want exactly done up how I'd do it too. Dope af!!!!
Nice bike! Just bought a 19 at eagle beat in Lathrop. Looking at the same pipe and filter. Anyway you can make a video of pipe sound and possible drive by? That would be great help to me...
Hey can you add a full parts list? Im curious as to which bars you used and did you need to extend brake/clutch lines? Nice lookin bike
Stefan Urbas Screaming Eagle Tuner, intake/filter-TBR Exhaust, Saddleman Seay, HD grips, HD 1/4 Fairing, HD passenger peg kit, black stock HD levers.
Still drooling on this ride. What bars are those? That’s my next upgrade!
Factory 47 12"
Hey man sweet bike! I have a new 2018 Street bob myself and definitely interested in a 2 into 1 pipe like yours. Stage 2 upgrade? Ride safe!
anthony verdugo thx bro! Stage I for now. Ride safe brother!!!
Great ride! Can you tell me where did you get that handlebar?
Any problems using the screamin eagle tuner with the two bros exhaust?
Not at all! I had it tuned at a Harley Dealership.
We should cruise sometime! I'm also in the Bay
How’s that’s seat treating us? Does it raise you higher? Push you Forward or back ?
Did 2 brothers sell to you in ca? I've been looking and no one wants to sell in California anymore
Kelly Mahoney try Revzilla
Even they had a disclaimer that was against ca sales I think
Just trying to find a way around it 🤣
Kelly Mahoney there’s a check box that says for race only I think 😉
Perfect thanks!
Which 2 brothers model is this? I missed that part.
Nice looking bike, question besides the harley 1/4 fairing, bung king braket, and quick release clips what else do you need to attach it? Thanks
You power coated the brake and clutch levers or bought in black?
Xavier Munoz bought them at HARLEY the same time I got the bars installed since they were already removing them and saved money on installation
Amazing bike ! Quick question regarding the TBR exhaust. You kept the stock passenger footpegs, right? I tend to scratch those a little when turning, and it seems that this exhaust is even closer to the road than the passenger footpeg. Have you ever made them touch the road? Thanks.
Johan le tourneur rider pegs will touch first if the passenger pegs touch then you low sided
Just got an exhaust and tuner for my 18 FXBB , now I just need a high flow air filter I really like the one you have what is it?
Jon Chrzanowski www.harley-davidson.com/store/screamin-eagle-extreme-flow-air-cleaner
Hey mate love the bike! Are your pillion pegs even height one side to the other
How are you liking the TBR exhaust? Was thinking of picking one up
Ron Sicoli great performance and sounds awesome!
Have you’d headers started to fade yet? Mine did after a month
What’s the digital gauge called
Did you have to get an adapter to fit the quarter fairing on? I thought about picking one up but I didn't know if I need any aftermarket mods. Someone said I need a Bung King adapter to make it fit right on the new Softail because they were made for dyna's or something like that.????
kamuela8 I bought the quick connect adapter from Harley-Davidson. There’s other adapters out there that you would need tools to remove your quarter fairing. By the one I got are just two easy snap on clips.
Love the bike. Good taste. Did you use an extension to move the headlight up to fit with the fairing?
Thank you! No I didn’t have to.
Is that exhaust really loud? I’d love a 2 in 1 for my 2018 street bob...just not super loud. Bassier maybe. Anybody know?
AdrianVino it’s loud but not louder than the Vance and Hines Short shots. I hope that helps.
If I may, I've always been a Bassanni Road Rage III man, myself. Loud when you want her to be, smooth and quiet when needed, build very well, and sturdy as HELL. Around 850 bucks, so sorta pricey. I doooo love it, even so!
Bro. When you got your bars changed, did you have to move the digital LEDs? Or did it stay as it was when you bought it?
sliccflip stayed in its original spot. If you get t bars or risers then it’ll have to move. With the factory 47 it stays.
What handlebars you got on there?
nick campos Factory 47
What risers do you have?
What bars are those
I also have an 18 street Bob stage 1. Is your air filter still a nice red color cause mine definitely isn't
Jon Chrzanowski unfortunately no, the red color goes away fast.
great video! great looking bike. Which bars are those?
Expertwiseass Thank you! Factory 47 12” Bars
@@MeTimeBayArea Are these the "malo" bars?
So, I’m about to order the same exhaust ( thanks to your video ). What ALL parts to i need to order with it to make it work proper? ( Novice here. )
AdrianVino thank you for watching the video. It’s usually recommended to buy a tuner anytime you make changes to your bike. So I would also change you’re filter while you’re at it.
What saddleman seat is that, and how comfortable is it? Thanks
Bradley Visintin saddleman “step up” seat. Comfortable for me as it gives a little lower back support and when you hit the throttle you don’t slide back. But it’s a bit harder for a passenger.
Looks like a thunderheader
Any updates?
Is that an actual H-D fairing?!?! I can’t find that model to save my life. I hate the new one. Need the covered light styl. Help me out man. What’s the part #
James Kalbflesh It’s HD. I would call the HARLEY Davidson store in Rocklin California and ask for my buddy Dave-he’s the parts manager and he would be able to help you out.
fuckers clean.
Yo man what bars are those?
Factory 47 14”
Hey bro where did you get those bars ?
Jhovanny Hernandez at the HARLEY dealership in Rocklin, Ca
MeTimeBayArea did you need get extension cables
Jhovanny Hernandez yes
What kind of seats did you have on your past Harley Dyna's and what kind of seats would you recommend for the new softail street bob
BigOG TT 14 Dyna I had a stock seat. 16 Low Rider S stock seat I like because it kept me on the seat when I throttled. I recommend these for me personally because it keeps me in the seat and I get a bit of a lower back support.
Did you need to get new exhaust gaskets?
Michael Lee you would want to change the gaskets
They didn’t “flag” your bike for having that exhaust ? They did me.
What’s the name of those bars?
Factory 47
Are those with baffles?
Denis Pare www.twobros.com/products/harley-davidson-softail-2018-megaphone-gen-ii-2-1-ceramic-black-part-number-005-4970199-b-1
You from Rocklin? I have the same bike
19JUN67 19JUN67 yup!
What bars are those?
Fratres Aeterni Factory 47 12” you can buy it at any Harley Davidson Dealership.
Did you ever regret trading the low rider s for this?
ssoares16 I didn’t trade it in. I had to sell it. But no, this bike rides better.
@@MeTimeBayArea
Thanks bro, debating getting a dyna or the new softails.
ssoares16 you should test ride both so you can feel the difference.
Stock cables?
Jacob James unfortunately, both sides has to be replace with longer ones.
salaman seat?
Problemchild Artistry saddlemen
only thing i hate about the new street bob is that little ass tank
Orlando Outlaw I agree :(
How loud is it?
Ug 420 loud but not as loud and obnoxious as the Vance and Hines short shots.
Thank you, differences between gen 2 gen 1?
Ug 420 if you mean stage one or two. Stage one is the pipes, intake/filter and tuner. Stage two you’re working on the cams.
No I meant the exhaust, gen 1 vs gen2
Ug 420 sorry, I don’t know.
*Powder
mine blown up after 3 weeks ,harley junk i sold it after it was fixed ,first and only harley lasted 3 weeks ,waste of money
Sorry to hear that. Good luck on your next bike 🙏🏽
god i hate that exhaust i have it and want to get rid of it
Sounds gutless
It's a cruiser. What's gutless is the resale of the sea of inline 4 bangers...
Pos susucki
Does your header pipe touch the foot peg bracket?
Mr. Dude no
Does the seat push you forward any? And how is it on longer rides?
Michael Hamilton no it doesn’t. Long rides is much more comfortable on this seat than the stock because it gives you a little lower back support. Thanks for watching!
What kinda bars are those
