Greetings from an hour and a half to the east. Thought I recognized those roads and scenery. Small world. Just sold my 18 fat bob a few months ago and have hated myself for it since the moment it was gone.
Some of the best riding roads in America! Of course I may be slightly biased 😂 I couldn't imagine the feeling of having to give up my baby lol. Hope you find another ride that's just as fun!
Am looking to buy a fat bob 114,would love to change the stock pipes and lose thae rear number plate bracket thats attatched to the swingarm.....ur bike sounds sweet!
With the forward pegs, my heels drag before anything else. But the headers are the lowest point, and they are higher up than the stock pipes. I haven't had any dragging issues
I haven't noticed anything. The m8 on the FatBob is a pretty smooth running engine so it's not a big concern of mine. I've had the quadlock for over a year now and it's been really useful!
Hey just purchased these same pipes for my 21 fat bob and wondering if you had to do anything for the rear passenger peg? Did it come with a bracket or did you have to buy something?
It doesn't come with a bracket. You have to remove it and replace it in another threaded hole about 3-4 inches above on both sides. Mine had a threaded plastic cover over the hole. You can see it on the opposite side of your bike if you want to check what I'm talking about. I hope I explained it well. Good luck!
@@TheMrEdmonds Fair enough. Did you tune it after changing the exhaust? Fat Bobs need to be tuned if you change the pipes or you will get significant issues. I have the same bike and colour as you. I just de-baffled the stock pipes and it sounds awesome haha.
The fuelpak is good for an initial tune. If you want the absolutely best performance, dyno tuning is the way to go. That being said I haven't dyno tuned it, the fuelpak is good enough for me for now. Hope that helps!
My warranty has already expired, but yes it will void the warranty if you put any non-HD part on your engine, whether they do it or the dealer does it. Talk to your dealership though, because some dealers will bend the rules a little bit. John Maxwell here on RUclips has an excellent video on the topic. He knows more about it than I would.
I think I just bought a set from Amazon. They didn't have a set for the new softails when I got mine so I had to get a set for dynas and modify them a bit to fit right. but I know HD has a set for softails now.
I had to file it down a bit because it was too thick where it mounted to the handle bars I could've just gotten longer bolts but it was faster the way I did it.
@@TheMrEdmonds I’m also using a pre canned map on my 2012 48. I’m wondering if I’ll get better results with auto tune. BTW I’m drooling over your fatbob! Beautiful bike.
That looks bad ass now
Thanks brother!

I hate those heavy breathers. I put the Screanin Eagle ventilator ultra. Looks like same profile as stock but bigger.
Pretty sure I saw you today. That ride is looking good!
Probably! I rode to work this morning. Thanks bro!
It looks great, but do you drag it in corners before the pegs drag?

@@TheMrEdmonds thanks for the info!
Great video sir! Did you have any issues with your phone mount? Some people are complaining that the vibration can damage the camera. Thanks!

@@TheMrEdmonds Thanks man! I’ll check it out. I’ll probably need to import it since they don’t sell it here. Keep riding!
I am happy for you, my son....

@@TheMrEdmonds yeah I get what you’re saying appreciate it 👍🏼
No problem. Hope it all works out for you, you're gonna love em!
You need to paint it black to match the rest of the engine imo. Then it will look amazing
They have a black option. I prefer the raw stainless look myself.

Sure did! I installed the Vance & Hines Fuelpak 3 on it.
That exhaust is super nice!
Thanks man! I'm loving it!
Now take it to Roanoke HD and have it dyno tuned. Best $400 you can spend for performance.
The fuel pack doesn’t do the job ?

Hi what did I you do with the mirrors to flip them
I got a mirror extension kit. You can get it from HD or find it cheaper on Amazon.
The area looks like Upstate, NY
Southwestern Virginia! Blue Ridge mountains
did you void your warranty doing it yourself?

Which mirror adapters do you use? Thx in advance

@@TheMrEdmonds thanks, modify mean what exactly?

Does that app helpful to you?
It is very helpful if you have the fuelpak! It has all sorts of tools to change the engine tune of your bike!
@@TheMrEdmonds well that awesome
Are you running the auto tune for the fuel pak?
No, just a canned map. I might do an auto tune run in the future, but for now it's running perfectly fine on the preset map.
