Watching amateurs building bikes can be hilarious to me but I respect the fact your all in . You're showing people that they can do these simple type builds themselves.
That's the whole plan! I have no plans or goals to rub elbows with the pros. Just SLIGHTLY more involved than your everyday joe lol
I did the 2-1 stainless upswept V&H pipe on my FXBB. Your struggle brought back many memories. Those springs, the mufflers, the yanking the pipe into place. It was all worth it in the end though. I felt your frustration...
I real cool & calm guy who knows bikes and has a vision of how these bikes can be improved love the videos Dude Stay True .
LOL the Self Commentary, sometimes I'm like that. Good on you playing at it for laughs and comedic value.
Just put one of those TBR two into ones on a 114 at work today, she picked up 12hp which surprised me. She sounds mint on the down shift to boot.
I think you're right, Justin, those stainless bits are going to look awesome on the final version!
That TBR is sweet!
I like the stainless look! I had a triple tree clamp mount for my GoPro that centered it perfectly. I’ve never cared to much for the bulkyness of the Ram mounts
Another great video in the bag. 👍. Love the new sound. Anxious to see dyno results with this combo of bolt ons.
Thumbs up for the Power Vision
Accidental exhaust spring tip, cheap/free paint can opener works perfect to pull back exhaust springs, found out of desperation when opened last exhaust & realized it had springs
TBR has always spark my interest. Curious to see how you like that new tuner. Dig that spinning sparky logo!
ug that damn logo xD
Hot dang. Bike N' Bird and Blockhead both doing exhaust install videos today? Sounds like the moto gods are telling me what I should do next on my own channel.
DO IT!
@@BikeNBird It's in the works my dude. I'm still a little wary about voiding the powertrain warranty on a new platform though.
Sounds freakin badass man! I like that you went with the stainless finish. Can’t wait for the tune video. 👍🇺🇸
Nice Dude 👌🏼🤘🏻 i like it...hope the next built series coming soon...greetz from switzerland 🇨🇭
I installed the same pipe for my 2003 Dyna last year and it did come with a spring puller but maybe it was old stock.
I'm running mine stage 2 but found the pipe a little loud without a baffle so I bought the two brothers optional baffle and modified it a little bit more to bring it down even more.
The very first TBR pipe I bought had one, then the other 3 ive bought since haven't xD
I have a 2020 fat bob and I'm doing the stage 1, my pipes and air intake and tune are already ordered I cant wait, than after I'll be changing the handle bars
I love the sound of the TBR
I know I’m in the minority but I actually love the way the stock exhaust looks on these bikes. TBR exhaust does look and sound great though. Good call on the stainless finish though, I feel like the whole blacked out thing is going to get played out soon (it’s going to be our generation’s chrome lol)!
Lol I actually agree on the looks. I didn't mind the looks of stock at all. But the sound is garbage and the slip on options at the moment just don't offer the performance I was looking for. And I totally agree on the black out comment. It looks great, but when the MoCo starts doing more and more from the factory... gotta go the other direction lol
Sounds great 👍
the only bike i want to spend my money on
Great video and loved the way you admitted you were an idiot - which you clearly aren't - just challenged like the rest of us with DIY projects. Which model Red Line lift is that? Just bought a 2023 Fat Bob and it's a little too long for the typical 86" lifts. Thanks in advance for any advice on a lift.
I think stock air filter much better looks then custom
I stumbled into your channel, you got yourself a new subscriber 😁
But in my personal opinion, the original exhaust looks far better designwise.
Build coming along.
Thanks for sharing. Like the finish on pipes. Still wonder what blacked out would be like.
Look forward to dyno number.
Do you try to dyno all your bikes after adjustments?
This will be my first time going to a legit dyno tuner while also using a good tuner such as the dynojet. All other builds have just been canned fp3 maps since they weren't really performance focused.
Had to google that equation.
Einstein field equation. Nice !!!
Stainless looks way better than the powder coat black.
What mount was that for the power vision? Didn’t see a link unfortunately. Like the set up
Does that air cleaner rub up against your leg? (Any more than the stock one)
IT FIT! :)
do full exhaust systems like this typically come with built in catylitic converters?
Do you know if the licence plate mod + brake LED will fit an 08 fatbob?
I own a fatbob 107 but I am curious living in san antonio now that it's getting cooler does your speedo fog up ? I'm thinking I should go back to get it warrantied...
Mine fogged up even in the dead of summer. Just a shit design that let's air get trapped back behind and forced THROUGH the speedo. You can get it warrantied but i've heard horror stories of people taking it back 3+ times and having the same issue.
@@BikeNBird o shit thanks for the info
Hey man so have you seen any rear frame sliders or some type of protection that can fit on the passanger footpegs to keep the bike off the ground ? I have not found anything just wondered if u had seen anything for the rear
sounds good man. real good. curious did you put new exhaust gaskets. did not see that. the new intake is fine but I love the 114 aircleaner look. looking real good and you are right stay with the vision.
Yessir I did. Just too dark to really see anything I did under there
How do those intakes handle weather?
Does the tuner have to stay there forever?
Hey can ya let me know where to get that mount you used for tuner please
What licence plate set up are you using please?
Im looking at putting a PV on my '18 Fat Bob w/Stock Handlebars. Do you have the part numbers for the Ram Mount setup you used?
Yes sir I used this mount www.amazon.com/RAM-Mounts-Adapter-Plate-RAM-B-347U/dp/B004O8LF26/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2VDH2Z0RH5VUD&keywords=RAM+Mounts+Ball+Adapter+with+AMPS+Plate+RAM-B-347U+with+B+Size+1%22+Ball&qid=1645559939&sprefix=%2Caps%2C740&sr=8-2
Just found your channel, what year is that fat bob?
What kind of mount and set up do you use for the dynojet?
Not a fan of the V&H exhaust, efficient though it is. Part of the butch charm of the Fat Bob is it’s great looking OE exhaust.
How does the pipes effect your warranty?
Warranty can be voided by literally anything and everything. It's up to the dealer to determine how much they want to get out of it.
In short whatever part you put on voids the warranty on that part. So if you replace the handle bars the dealership can say that because you disassembled the controls and wires to do so that they are no longer under warranty. With exhaust they could argue that your modification affected engine performance and you voided your warranty.
Thanks y’all.
I think the only thing that is a buzz kill is that while the DynoJet Power Vision is an excellent product…But…if you own a new bike with the factory warranty…..it voids the entire warranty …..so In that situation one needs at least be aware of that fact……..and one may wish to use the Harley OEM Screaming Eagle tuner at least through the 24 month warranty period or longer if you have the ESP plan supplement warranty….if you care about your warranty…if you don’t…..then proceed with enthusiasm.
My understanding is the Dynojet will void the warranty on the bikes, is this true or the dealer blowing smoke up my ass? Great build!
You could literally change grips and have your warranty voided. Just depends on how much the dealer wants to jerk you around
If you install an aftermarket ECM programmer (Powervision, TTS, FP3 etc.) And the bike is then "plugged in" to the digital technician at a dealership it will immediately flag the powertrain components of your warranty. It will not void your entire warranty.
Dealerships are supposed to plug in every bike before they do any kind of work on them.
You came over to from Darkside. Next you’ll go to chrome
My other favorite John!
Can you relocate your blinkers to the forks so I can learn how!? Please lol
Lol we'll see how the bars/fairing effects the turn signals and then i'll make a decision from there
Intently watching to see why Justin is "just dumb".
Oh that list would be VERY long xD
@@BikeNBird 😂 it happens man
haha ur to hard on yourself, funny though.
sorry my friend that sounds like stock minibike
Damn son what kind of minibikes are you riding O_o
First
Fake ass carbon fiber tip.
So funny story, the directions on this pipe specifically said not to dyno tune the bike with that tip on because it has a risk of melting
Wow terrible video audio and video did not match at all very hard to watch. Did you ever mention to you are viewer that this totally voids their Harley Davison warranty
Audio matches perfectly bud. IDK what you're referring to...
and no. My channel is not to inform how to keep a warranty.
