My question is about the shocks? How's it performing ? My guess you have the standard not the heavy duty
DJPippeLondono did you use the complete short shots kit, or just the sleves. and did you dyno tune it at a dealership or with a home tuner. seriously thats a nice sound. HD goals!

Hi There both. Thanks yes I have had it for about 3 weeks now and really like it. it's the biggest bike I've had (I had a Harley 48 before) so I think it will take some getting used to, also I am quite tall so the mid controls are slightly small for me so I have ordered some highway pegs
What a great video. I really enjoyed the Clear video quality. Along with that the bike sounds fantastic with the V&H Short Shots. Some very clean modifications. Imho Subtle mods with function over beauty wins out every time. You must be a proud father for sure. Enjoy it brother. tcrs

Guys, your video was inspirational. I have just this week ordered a Street Bob special 2016 (my partner says she wanted to come with me, so the seating config was important). And yeah, have ordered the same pipes (short shots). Dunno how many times I watched your vid from about 3:45 onwards, but it was a lot. Like the look and sound! After a year of running my bike with V&H Straight Shots I had to get the quiet baffles. Picking up my Street Bob later this week and will be slowly make some modes over the winter. Thanks for the ideas and suggestions.
I love how it sounds, time will only tell if I have to get quiet baffles since I'm a DJ and already have hearing problems.. Lol

You are right, most are wannabes, not real bikers, cause we have also been on the side of the road and a fellow biker always helps out. I have done it for others, too. I live in Texas, still a wild frontier in many lonely stretches of open road, so, a helpful friend is always appreciated. You get what you give.

I bought 2016 street bob and have the VH short shots. Do you think the air cleaner has any bearing on the sound or just the speed? I have heard mixed reviews.

Did you just drill a hole in the fender to feed the wires through for the taillight? And did you also have to change the flasher relay?

Nice video, the bike is very nice, my father is also riding a Harley Fat boy 2003 and i just bought a street bob 2008. Trying to black it out, just like your son does.. I like it a lot!

dude those pipes have that thing sounding SUPER deep, took out a lot of that high pitched "clap" sound you get, I kinda like that too tho. Aweosme man, a cop would give ya a nose ticket for that around here in no time... I have just some screamin eagle slip ons, they upped the sound a fair bit but thats naaasty.
I'de love to know what RPM it idles at since you got that drop in gauge. Sounds like its around 1200 revs
hey, what are those led lights that you replaced the bolts with on the license plate?
On the LED plate lights did that come with the kit or is that something that y’all did on yalls own?

Just got myself a 2014 Street BoB and I love it! But those LED turn lights and the front become white are awesome! I gotta get me some (as well as the front headlight “daymaker”).. any tips on where you got them? And are they easy to install?

what type of lights are the led? Are they both 1157 or are they 1156 & 1157. Want to get a set fro my Street Bob.

DJPippeLondono, when I went to look for my first Harley a couple years ago I was looking at Street Bob but then I came across an 09 Crossbones and I couldn't pass it up so I went with that instead. The Street Bob is still an awesome bike and would consider getting one if I got a second Harley. Take care, safe riding!
