- I was really looking forward to SWBF2 Arcade Mode, but just couldn't get enough info on the details. My hope was that this mode would escape the majority of EA's greed, and that it would make the purchase worthwhile. Welp, guess I was wrong!

I kind of wish they add Galactic assault and strike 2 arcade mode without that it's so boring
It's clear that arcade mode was mostly just tacked on so it would draw people in, and then just funnel them toward multiplayer and loot crates. Thanks for the comment man.

Bought it for the splitscreen mode, but it seems that they spent all their time on the online multiplayer. I wonder why they didn't bring all features to the offline mode, but I can not even get better weapons if I just play offline?? xD
I loved the original Battlefront 2 on PS2 so much and had all the improved weapons after a long time of playing, but it was possible to get them. But if it is like you say, there is absolutely no motivation to play the new bf2 offline. This and the limited content offline makes this game suck so much. Great video btw :D

Man, thanks for this video, loved it. I was just like you, enjoyed the last one for months and was looking to get this one just for the Arcade Mode. You helped me made my mind and save my money; I learned my lesson the hard way from all the grinding I did for Overwatch and those were just cosmetic!... man, never again. Also, loved your calmed narration. Keep it up

No star fighter? and only 7 maps... Battlefront1 has more single player options.
There is the story mode, but yeah it's a pretty sad overall.
If it still hasn’t been improved or fixed by now, I doubt that they care to improve the arcade experience at all. In fact, it makes me wonder when they are making the cards purchasable again.
I love Star Wars, but I will wait till this is in the bargain bin. Thank you for making this video my friend.

Thanks for the review. I will not spend any money on that crap. EA just sucks big time. Hell, the 2005 Battlefront II is still miles ahead in fun. Dig that.
i completly agree with him... ea has made so many poor desicions on this game... i suck at multiplayer exept for h v v and arcade is so under rated... you should have a limit to about 300-500 credits per game just like a average multiplayer game

Bit late lol but they added conquest offline for the clone wars maps in including felucia and there adding the sequel trilogy maps for conquest with instant action at the end of this month.

I know man, it really eats me up that their greed has ruined an otherwise fun game. Two profiles has been done in the past, and it worked perfectly (e.g. the first Black Ops.) Thanks for the comment.
I played previous Battlefront only when I got friends at my place, and we took that assault or survival - it was fun, really. I just was a bit upset with the small choice of maps. And this game seems not worth of buying it only for split screen co-op? Are those "scenarios" interesting for such a mode? And am I able to unlock all the locked scenarios without playing online? I don't want to spend lots of time just for some "cards", I wanna just have fun with my friends in front of TV.
They are adding galactic assault in January.

What’s the purpose of earning points in arcade mode? Cant wait for Starfighter Arcade mode.
I play for fun, not for progression or crates. Fun for me is often had at the base level. Quite often the more I progress in a game the more the fun diminishes. EA are clearly out of touch and that’s a shame for the majority of customers and it will effect the game and the bottom line.
I was kind of tempted by this game hearing the customisation for arcade mode, given how in the last game I actually replayed the tutorials for lack of anything to do on the game.
if this game were made by a developer that actually cared about the players, how about far easier unlock for single player, or DIFFERENT unlock speeds for multi/single player for a start?
it's so frustrating that there's no decent SW game to play; I'd rather play the 2005 Battlefront II than this if they made it available on PS4 tbh
Just wanted to let you know that they finally fixed this, well at least it's more than 500 credits. I think they raised it to 1000 in a 5h span. You can get 100 credits per arcade match even matches the custom arcade.
So I have a question I don’t have working internet would this title be worth picking up without having a online connection?

Smh I used to play battlefront on psp now it's come to this very helpful video i was going back and forth deciding to get this game and the offline modes were what I was looking for #justsubbed

Thank you for the video! I have been looking for someone who can delve into what Arcade Mode truly is and what it entails. This helps me better understand and as you said, it isn't worth $60 even with the campaign. I'll buy at $20 or less like I did it's prequel. I am a Star Wars junkie but I am completely against promoting gambling, especially among children and young adults. I hope Lucasfilm and Disney have some sort of clause in their contract that allows them to remove EA as exclusive video game developer!
Side question: Is Onslaught the mode you would be in to play as Yoda or Maul and face off against 1,000 enemies?
Wait so I'm confused is he saying it's like totally impossible to play as a sith or a jedi in an arcade mode because we might not be able to unlock the characters? Please comment below. I already bought this game but I never actually gave it a chance. I am still playing the first game but I'm ready to move on. The first game was disappointing to me.
Love this video you did a great job and am now subscribing!! Unfortunately it is a bad over all game it seems and I would only buy it for arcade. Sadly I'm buying it cause I'm a die hard Star Wars fan. And I hate that they can take advantage of me like this just because of the Star Wars logo. I just hope they do updates for more content in arcade mode

Arcade is a lot better now there’s star fighter modes and more maps also if u have it on PC there’s plenty of awesome mods

In arcade mode for team death match what's the highest you can put troop pulls from . I like long matches like you could do in the old battlefront 2.

there is a milestone that says you need 3 stars on every stage. I'm on the last stage on the dark side and it is difficult. its the only one I have left. cant beat it for anything lol.
i have two questions i hope you can answer, whats the max ammount of units you can have in custome arcade team battle and also those 7 maps can be played on all eras? (clone wars, galactic civil war and new republic era)
10v10 is the max number of soldiers in play, and there are only 6 maps, which are era specific. Kamino, and Theed are Clone Wars, Mos Eisley and Yavin 4 are Galactic Civil War, and Starkiller and Takodana are Sequel era.
holly shit, thats soo damn lame, the ammount of content its an insult to everyone who demanded something similar to instant action, i know they confirmed new maps on the next DLC but that one will only have 1 single map per era.

Idk why your mad at EA when they are putting all they have into this game but you get mad when they try and get something out of it. They have to make money somehow. P.S offline is not the only way to earn credits.
