For what it's worth, it's a decent Kids Game. THQNordic make some bangers and from what I've played, it's fun. Especially for a kids game. It even feels like one of the original episodes by Stephen Hillenberg. Probably the best game since Battle for Bikini Bottom.
Guys, have you ever heard the phrase “Never judge a book by its cover”?
Maybe we should apply that to this video's title too.
In my opinion, the quest to find all of Spot's favorite hiding places sounds like this game's version of finding Patrick's missing pairs of socks (my favorite side quest in BFBB).
Same.
But the diffrence is that u could explore BFBB freely and Cosomic Shake is all about going through one path until u find the thing u looked for.
It was a really good game but I have a few things I didn’t like
1. Costumes were too cheap by the time I got enough coins to start unlocking them I had enough jelly to not worry about not having having enough to buy the costumes.
2. Twenty extra doubloons that don’t get you anything not even a 100% ending.
Overall the story was good and it had great level design and was fun to play.
I like cosmic shake but it’s missing too much a lack of new or old playable characters and while BFBB was linear it was less so and had more hidden secrets that were there from the beginning you didn’t have to beat the level once to activate side missions
We all know that bfbb is the best SpongeBob game in existence
Um never played the original also who’s’We’ ?
Game is short but it’s still a fun time especially if you’re a fan of Spongebob especially in his early years, Purple Lamp and THQ Nordic did a great job and my favorite music from the game are Pirate goo lagoon and Halloween Rock Bottom, Their music has like a Rareware feel to it
Only thing I wish could’ve been added was one more costume. Doodle Bob

I don’t listen to IGN and Gamespot, I enjoyed playing the game
@@robert_alef1033 Facts, but IGN wasn't the only unfairly harsh review I saw for this game. There's a couple others who were just as if not even more harsh on this game without really explaining why
@@matthewbuckley7757 GameSpot was actually fair for once and gave this one a fair review, which gives IGN even less of an excuse than usual.
I don't listen to them either, but I just can't help but see how wrong they are and laugh at their incompetence lol

The Game is similar to the BFBBR
But this Game introduces new abilyties and worlds worlds better graphics, a great concept
And costumes
I really get fun completing the game
I like how the levels felt like a mix of BFBB as well as other levels from other SpongeBob games and references to episodes, but for some reason I felt like Rock Bottom kind of mimmick Level 7 of Simpsons Hit and Run
And the bubble wand too from SpongeBob SquarePants The Movie Game.
I Thought it would be a "This Game was bad" video.
Boy was I surprised.
I mean, here SpongeBob is shown to still have braincells, instead of being a _special needs kid_ like in modern seasons.
The animation in this game looks 20 times better than the animation from that 3D show Nickelodeon released like a year ago.
It's not like the third movie (which only good thing was the animation) but it looks great and it isn't so ADHD like modern SpongeBob seasons.
I love this game, it's the second best Spongebob game behind BFBB/Rehydrated

@@xXMonteithXx Eh the structure of the movie game is a bit annoying but I haven't fully played through cosmic shake yet so I can't give my opinion yet.
Purple lamp studios done an amazing job and it’s much better than heavy iron studios I want the movie game rehydrated or creature from the krusty krab or revenge of the Flying Dutchman or even truth or square rehydrated next. But this time turn on and off repeating effects for people that are diagnosed of seizures.
I’d love to see a ranking video of every SpongeBob game ever released. Bfbb obviously is S tier

Not gonna lie, I went into this video expecting you went & did a full 360° after saying the game was good on Twitter. But yeah, great game! Just has a few tiny issues that needs addressed.
I do agree on the backtracking tho. Although I seen it as more of the game taunting me that I can't get there yet. Which is something BFBB did a few times, and I do like how it's in full force here.
Glad we finally got a game that goes above & beyond to immerse fans into the world of SpongeBob more than any other! :)
Loved it. I just want a brand new sequel to Nicktoons Unite. Recently, Purple Lamp said that they wanna do more Spongebob games.
On my first playthrough I did like the game but not alot however on my second play through it grew on me so did the music I originally found subpar it truly is a fun game
This game is the lastest content that I would call to still have that spark of the OG seasons from the show.
Just I hope they stopped doing the chicken face meme or imagination meme. Because self-awareness loses punch every time.

Hey I beat the cosmic shake game on ps4 and it's good
I think cosmic shake is more comparable to creature from the krusty Krabb. It feels more in line with the linearity than battle for bikini bottom to me
For me it’s more like The Movie game, Creature from the Krusty Krab feels like as if the developers din’t know what type of gane they wanted it to be
@Mark De Bruyn I can agree with that. There's ALOT going on in that game. Honestly I'm still gonna go for bfbb as my favorite game with the Yellow Square

i saw it and i swear this actually was pretty good game
in my opinion The Cosmic Shake and BFBB are on the same level if I were to choose one of the two as the best Spongebob game ever made I was going to choose The Cosmic Shake besides being extremely fun and remarkable it was the first to arrive dubbed in my native language which is Brazilian Portuguese mais uma vez o Wendel Bezerra e seu estúdio Unidub trouxeram uma dublagem espetacular 🇧🇷🇧🇷

I know alot of people like this game but unfortantly for me the cosmic shake didn't work. Now I don't think its a bad game but nothing really special. This game is kind of a mix of creature and bfbb combined which I feel were better games. Creature brought new gameplay styles across the levels to make it more interesting and bfbb is a classic. Overall I would give it a 6/10 it's good but not even close to the movie game, creature or bfbb

Nah the game was just kinda mid. It was still amazing but compared to other platform SpongeBob games it was mid. I just think that the moves could been better, the enemies, and the lay out of the maps

well the fact that it was made by the reused assets company and that the game is so trippy that it doesnt even feel like its under the ocean, just from watching an 100 percent playthrough i can tell, that this doesnt feel like spongebob
Well SpongeBob the movie game was made from reused assets and was trippy in itself, but still was a fan favorite. I enjoyed what I played from this game so far and loved the references. Yeah it random but the worlds seems cool to explore.
@@angelmendez2211 only thing about the movie game that I just couldn’t finish it was the camera being inverted and not having an option to switch it out in other ps2 and Xbox games that had the same thing
Cosmic shake has barely any reused assets… most of the models are very different to rehydrated, including poly count
@@NateMakesMusic definitely but I think that’s where it went wrong. I think it should’ve taken some more aspects from other SpongeBob games. Specifically BFBB and The movie game
