Hey Chisgule Gaming, I just did the math on the instant gems button and it looks like the game buys the speedups in the highest value way possible. Your example of Lumber Mill lvl16 -> lvl17 costs 821 gems for instant completion, if you add up the following to get pretty close to that number. (8 hour x 1)[600 gems] + (1 hour x 1)[120 gems] + (15 minute x2)[80 gems] + (1 minute x 6)[18 gems] = 9 hours 36 minutes [818 gems] It's interesting because I always assumed the game would buy the speedups in the less cost effective way possible as well. Anyways keep up the mad spending, I love your rok content and watch everyday ;)
The instant button is for whales who don't want to manually speed things up. It takes 5-10 seconds to start something, click speed-up, choose the right speed ups, etc. No problem if you're speeding up a few things. If you're trying to train a million troops and you're doing it 2,000 at a time (and you have deep pockets) , the instant button is a better option. I saw a video where the mega-whale from our kingdom, smashed it non-stop for 10 minutes to get about 6 million troops. Would have taken a really long time to speed those up manually.
The one time u should use the instant button is if you at the beginning game where most things don’t have 1 hour speed ups or when you’re not in an alliance. For example, if I got a new goldmine building and I want to get to the level of my other ones, I can use instant to get it to a better level and allow me to build two other things while I level lesser costing buildings

I need your help Mge started today in my kingdom, the king put a 15M limit on the overall MGE, ( im in the 2014 KD, its the 3rd martel mge, this kd is not very active, nearly dead ) I have prepared this mge for 3 months ( the start of the kd ) The king fixe the podium 12hours before the mge start, I was desagree, so I put a shield and I make 25M pts training troop ( currently Im top 1, like I said this kd is dead ) So the king and all his alliance want to zero me I will stay under shield, and I want to do the KE, for that I want to down my shield and full my hospital cause they will rally me and swarm my city With that I can maybe take the top 3 or the top 1 with 35 or 40M points ( not a lot but my kd is dead xD ) My question is : Can I put a shield during à rally + swarm ? My idea is to full my hospital and when im full, I instant put a shield ! Is it possible ? Stupid question but I really dont want to take the risk Ty for your time
Only time to gem is with troop expansions, it gives a 1 to 1 gem/troop ratio. Literally the only time in the game to gen outside of when your city is being rallied
Hey chisgule,when do you suggest to get a full infantry/cav/archer builds instead of using full skill tree builds if using commanders like sun tzu,baibars,ysg?I am 4 days away from entering kvk 2 about 4.7 mill tech power.
that is a new structure for heroic anthem... it allows you to mine crystals to do more research beyond your academy. The big issue is it goes away when heroic anthem is done, so any speedups you use on it are lost after kvk and you need more next kvk.
the 10 spins won't get an expertise commander! .. Got Gkhan coming soon and want to go all in but his wheel of fotune comes 4 times so how best to stagger it to optimise gems as a low spender and still try expertise him

Well, I'm a f2p, and when I was like city hall LVL 10. I believe I clicked the instant button from the rewards I got from my alliance by winning the ruin or altar( I'm not completely sure). I believe I clicked it for Research Facility. I'm sorry, I'm just a noob, I didn't even know about the instant button. (I even didn't 5511 my Charles Martel, after I got him and even my alliance members said to max his 1st and 2nd skill.

The reason why an instant finish of buildings is so expensive is it also buys the rss requirements to finish the buildings
