Last week Qatar Airways retired the Boeing 747-8 from its cargo fleet. Just Planes was lucky enough to film one of its Jumbos on a flight from Doha to Paris CDG. On this video you can see the landing.

Having looked at many JustPlanes videos, I realize that Paris CDG is an international airport where the local language is used a lot for ATC communication, which is rather surprising. For safety, wouldn’t it be better to use only one language for local and international flights ?
If that dash 8 was carrying grandma, she wouldn't have spilled a drop of her champagne upon landing. A fitting landing for a *beautiful and gigantic* aircraft!

You should have more respect for fellow pilots. Neither of you were in the cockpit at that time so you don’t know what you’re talking about and yes I’m a Cpt on the 747-8. And by the way it’s A/T disconnect and A/P disengage
