The old hi capa nozzle springs were a bit trash. I broke 3 in 2 sessions... Apparently I short stroked it too far but was using the Waldo recoil and short stroke kit. But once I switched to an AIP 140% nozzle spring I've not broken any. That being said, he has improved the design and I'd happily buy them to try. As I own all the Waldo kits except the gbbr springs
Yes I know this is late but I just got all of these parts and installed them but it did not feed with the same short stroke set up you have so I had to take some out until it fed 100% of the time do you have any ideas in why, and if so thx you.
Yes, the safety does work as long as you don't adjust the trigger pull. I got this receiver from my local shop, but I think you can order them online from octagon airsoft
Hey I have a quick question: I have the tti adjustable trigger, and after a game or two, the trigger will get pushed out and become longer. How do I prevent this?
Hey! I'm new to gas pistols and pretty noob in airsoft as a whole. Is it okay to dry fire the AAP-01 like you did at the beginning, pushing down on the slide stop, or will it damage the gun somehow?
I would definitely say yes, but I've only had it in my gun for like 2 days. Really fast and responsive, there is no better option currently for these parts.
Quick question can I get the link ti where you got your stroke kit I’ve been having trouble finding parts like a nice trigger and a short stroke kit for the aap-01. But awesome vid I haven’t gotten my gun yet but I plan to upgrade it when I get my hands on it
That is just the nature of rubber buffers. These are actually particularly good in comparison to other buffers I've used over the years. I have basically zero deterioration on my buffers in this gun, but eventually I will have to swap them out for a new set
@@trizlkersplizzle Yep, I always go with rubber. There does exist plastic buffers for this gun, and other guns also make metal ones. Rubber is just the least intrusive shortstroke method, and it's not a bad idea to maintain your gun anyways
Yes. You generally get a little bit of fps loss with shortstrokes, not enough to be a bad thing, but yes. For me, the extra snappiness outweighs the fps loss
Hi i installed mine but it increased the fps by about 30 and i cant use it on my field with it in the max on my field is 350fps and its shooting around 360!
Always loved waldo's products,he makes great quality products 😊
Yeah, this set is pretty nice

Still haven't got mine yet but tysm for all the help bro.
wow nice vid... totally worth it clean and smooth... like the oil bath lol
How is the cycle of bb? Does it miss?
What % springs did you use?
Aap01
Sick video bro💯💯

buying a high quality mag should do the trick
@@epic1186 thx bro I got aw custom mags and also I took two black short strokes out and it works really well know.👍
Hello! Did it make the gun quieter? I suppose it should be because of decreased slam sound?
Where did you get that upper receiver from? Another question does safety still work after putting action army trigger?
Yes, the safety does work as long as you don't adjust the trigger pull. I got this receiver from my local shop, but I think you can order them online from octagon airsoft
YESS I NEEDED THIS VIDWO
How is the feeding with max short stroke I did the same but it didn’t feed any bb
Building a dmr build and wondering if this kit would still be worth it. I like having the recoil on my guns does this bring it down a whole lot?
yes
This is a great video I just got mine and this has helped so much 👍
Awesome! Have fun!

Waldo is the bob ross of airsoft
Hey! I'm new to gas pistols and pretty noob in airsoft as a whole. Is it okay to dry fire the AAP-01 like you did at the beginning, pushing down on the slide stop, or will it damage the gun somehow?
It's fine. Technically not good, but as long as you maintain the gun, it's no big deal.
I'd say don't just to be safe
Dope vid! But does it feed bb’s with that current short stroke kit? That is the question! Lol
With a good mag, yes
Will the bolt stop function be discontinued?
Yes
my waldo’s customs aap01 buff short stroke kit is white and black with the silver i know this is dumb but will is still work the same?
yes, it works the same. I think he was having an issue with the yellow dye and durability
Where did you get the blue trigger, mag release and thumb stop???? I want blue so bad!
Oregon Airsoft arena. instore purchases only
Did u even adjust the trigger?
What lube did you use for this vid
What rod did you get it at with the Waldo springs
hi, do it reduce the FPS ?
Wowww🔥,is it worth buying tho ?
I would definitely say yes, but I've only had it in my gun for like 2 days. Really fast and responsive, there is no better option currently for these parts.
@@Wyhaq does your aap01 still fit in a holster with all of the external mods?
@@jonschfl yes, it fits the ctm holster perfectly
what about a drop leg style holster?
I got a question, does it affect in any way to the semi firing? does it reset earlier ( I mean if is enough to notice a difference)
Yes, it is a lot more responsive and it just feels snappier. It makes the stock gun feel slugish.
@@Wyhaq oh really? Then I will think of getting the kid also, I am on the process of upgrading my aap so am taking notes xD
when i fitted my kit with the same layout I tried all my mags and it wouldn't feed bbs
Same thing happened to me idk what to do
hi, what kind of lubricant do you use?
based on silicone ?
Angel custom brand is what I currently use

Update guys I found the website just type Waldo custom parts and it should pop up
@@briangomez192 thanks
Are there any cons or issues about durability using the short course in the future? Could I use it with 1 or 2 less spacers?
If you don't care about maximum performance, I would recommend 2 yellows with the black spacers obvioiusly and the metal
And what was yhe rps afterwards?
What other upgrades you got on it
This one just has barrel, bucking, and CNC hammer set
im using the stock aap mag and it hasnt fed 1 time
also started randomly bust firing for some reason
Does this take the semi auto feature away
No
@@Wyhaq will it have the same effect for semi as it does full auto? Like will semi be faster after you did the modification
@@practicallyseth4024 yes
@@Wyhaq 👍👍
from where did you get the short stroke
waldocustoms.com
anyone had problems with the rubber spacers breaking down? read somewhere that's happened on occasion

Was there any fps loss after the short stroke kit?
Yes. You generally get a little bit of fps loss with shortstrokes, not enough to be a bad thing, but yes. For me, the extra snappiness outweighs the fps loss
@@Wyhaq Cool, that going to work for me. The indoor fields has a fps limit of 300 and 330 at another one.
@@leesmith6788 I hit 330s with mine. You will need to do some other stuff. Easiest solution would be a wide bore barrel
Hi i installed mine but it increased the fps by about 30 and i cant use it on my field with it in the max on my field is 350fps and its shooting around 360!
