  • The Action Army AAP-01 has become incredibly popular and also loved by the airsoft modding community. This is hands down one of the easiest and my favourite mods. Swapping out the outer barrel with a suppressor adapter and longer suppressor

    Nice little mod, especially letting you keep the sight. Some lovely carbine kit mods out there for the AAP.

      Oh yes, there's some crazy mods for sure. I think Action Army hit gold with the AAP. It's nuts how much this one pistol is now adaptable

    Great video :) anyway...the one big downside (for me) I see with this mod is that you can´t attach a RIS rail to the bottom of the suppressor so you no longer have the option to attach pistol flashlight

    • @moorlandertactical
      @moorlandertactical  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, it limits that extra bling. I think in the Assassin mod style to this though, the minimal look is that keeps it looking cool

    How much does the suppressor lower the sound of the shot? Is it just for looks, or does it make it quiet enough for backyard use without annoying the neightbors?

    • @moorlandertactical
      @moorlandertactical  21 день назад

      It's not a massive amount as the AAP-o1 is a reasonably loud pistol. It's definitely more for show. The muzzle sound definitely drops however the slide banging backwards and forwards still is as loud as normal. I hope that helps buddy

    Perfect combination. Could you fit a tracer, possibly attached to the 16mm. theads up front?

    • @moorlandertactical
      @moorlandertactical  8 месяцев назад +1

      I don't see why not. With traces being in the mock silencer although you may need to shorten the barrel slightly so that it doesn't obstruct the tracer sensors. Should be super easy to do though. If you do it and you're on Insta, tag me in on some photos. I'd love to see it working

    What if I put a 275mm Silencer

    • @moorlandertactical
      @moorlandertactical  2 месяца назад

      It's be a little bit longer and a little bit quieter :D In mine here the barrel goes into the silencer about two thirds in. If you had a longer silencer is would definitely make it more quiet.

    i did think you mod was to extend the inner barrel , for range !

    • @moorlandertactical
      @moorlandertactical  6 месяцев назад

      You can definitely extend the barrel within the suppressors. There's at least 7 or 8cm room. I was just concerned with keeping it safe for the sites I play at... Although, I'm sure it would still be within their limits. This is simply a visual upgrade 🖖

    would a 200mm barrel tube fit without protruding beyond the silencer?

    • @moorlandertactical
      @moorlandertactical  4 месяца назад

      Sorry I. Missed your comment. The 200mm barrel would be too long however there is a longer most suppressor so you could definitely make it work... Or take the end of the barrel off slightly. Thanks for watching

    Nice mod! Do you know what length barrel youd need to meet the end of the suppresser?
    Thanks

    • @moorlandertactical
      @moorlandertactical  9 месяцев назад

      I don't sorry. There's about 30mm between the end of barrel and the suppressor if that helps

    Is there less barrel wobble with this setup than the stock outer barrel

    • @moorlandertactical
      @moorlandertactical  7 месяцев назад +1

      Definitely. The mock suppressor comes with a barrel space which holds it in place really well

  • @johnhill4872
    @johnhill4872 Год назад +1

    Rather than use a suppressor that large, would a tracer like the acetech blaster hide the barrel?

    • @johnhill4872
      @johnhill4872 Год назад +2

      nvm, just realised the barrel would stop the tracer working

    • @moorlandertactical
      @moorlandertactical  Год назад

      Yeah, was just about to say that. There's some other really nice shorter suppressors out there 🤙

    Can you recommend a barrel upgrade for me not to exceed 400fps, I use propane. I’m super new and I want to get an upgrade in

    • @moorlandertactical
      @moorlandertactical  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hmmmmm... Propane is a dark magic I haven't meddled in yet 😆 I know exactly who can help though. There's an amazing AAP-01 owners group on Facebook and they community there is brilliant. Guarantee somebody there will be able to help for sure

      @moorlandertactical  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hey buddy. It's the universal holster from Nov - eu.novritsch.com/product/closed-universal-holster-l-r/
      For it's price it's brilliant. Playing sniper and being prone all the time it takes some bashing. Last year I think I needed to tighten it back up once and that was after a heavy day running between zones. Highly recommended. I should ask them for commission 😆

    Sorry but I don’t like it I’m looking to do a change to mine but that is way to long it doesn’t look good to me. I like the look of the gun I don’t want to take away from that.

      That's cool. There's plenty of options out there with lots of different styles. If you eventually choose one, I'd love to hear which update you did
