    I appreciate that you often ID the critters. Especially more obscure species. That can be very helpful to someone trying to learn that stuff. And for that purpose, even marginal or unaesthetic footage of those rarely captured can have value.

    I think that was a kelp bass (calico bass) not a brown rockfish

      Why?
      It's not, it definitely is a rockfish.
      But why do you think its a calico?

      @@MaverickDiving i thought that because the environment/structure looked like that would be more likely. I looked closer at the tail and color and you're right. Awesome video by the way👍 water looks really clear
