I mean if they are not a part of your religion, they would be able to love and feel however they like ,right? If I am wrong about something please explain it to me, I am an Atheist and not really good with religious rules.
This got me thinking of a scenario Now, let's say a friend/child/someone close has these feelings, and you have a convo with them calm and collectively. First and foremost, they'd need to acknowledge its a sin. But here's the BUT... What if at that certain point in their life, they are so deep in their desires (blinded almost) that they are willing to question the laws of Allah.
Maybe they're just going to reinterpret it so that it's in line with goodness and humanity? You will be defeated your hatred and ignorance will be thrown into the dustbin of History. God loves all🙏
@PokéMusolman Oh sorry I guess the word "reject" is better here rather than "question". If they were to ponder over the reason for this ruling I'm sure they'd find out why. But even then it's like the ruling on eating pork or taking intoxicants. We don't do it simply cos it's a command from Allah.
Then they are losing their faith or didn't have it to begin with. If someone does not understand the Qadr of Allah, and starts to heed the whispers of Shaitaan, then they are probably about to make an exit from Islam itself. All you can do is try to advise them to the best of your ability.
Remember folks just like there is a time for kindness and compassion so is there a time for harshness and discipline. Don't compromise on principles because someone dear to you asks you to.
The way I see it is that Allah SWT gave all of us desires so he can tests us if we would go for our desires or to Allah. People always says that they feel like they were born as gay or always in haram relationship but for me, I see them as people who tested to see if they would be gay because of their desire or not to be gay because of Allah. I think that is a really strong philosophical belief.
@Amin_loves420 damn, 1 year later. God doesn't know everything but we don't. God knows the future but we don't. We require proof before making a judgement but God doesn't because he knows all. So therefore, on the day we will be judged, God will be showing proof of us committing sin, for us to understand. Not for God. We require proof otherwise we think God is unjust. God is all powerful but he is also the most just.
Being attracted to the same sex is not a choice. Having relationships and/or sex with them is. Now I would say that it is a rational choice if one is attracted to the same sex, and it is extremely immoral to punish people for making that choice. But some people are basically willing to sacrifice morality to please God. Which is kinda also a rational choice if you believe in that particular God. If there is someone who will give me infinite reward for doing something finitely immoral, I'm gonna go ahead and do the immoral thing.
No, being gay is not a sin, but it's the fulfillment of gay desires that is sinful. In the Qur'an it says prophet Lut (peace be upon him) advised his people because they approached men instead of women to fulfill their desires with, not because they solely had a desire for men instead of women.

Help me, good people. I am Umm Ahmed from Palestine. My children are orphans. An example and example of charity (there is no shortage of money from charity).
In Quran 7:80 Prophet Lut PBUH pointed out that what the people were doing was immoral and never done by a previous society of humans. Given that homosexuality and the LGBTQ+ community existed prior to this, Allah SWT is not talking about homosexuals. However, the next verse is even more explicit. In 7:81 this is exemplified further when Prophet Lut PBUH questions out aloud, "Verily, you practise your lusts on men instead of women. Nay, but you are a people transgressing beyond bounds (by committing great sins)." Why would Prophet Lut PBUH describe their lusting after men describing homosexuals, but then say NAY (BAL in Arabic) and say that they are not this but a people who are awful people. The people Lut was preaching to were not homosexuals, but people committing real atrocities by ambushing people on the highway, stealing from them, and then gang-raping them - and even doing so publicly. One could see this as an extreme form of violent xenophobia and holding of power over others like racists and misogynists do. This is much like what we see today in the USA Republican party and other anti-immigrant groups, who put razor wire in rivers to injure or kill immigrants trying to enter lands for a better life - which Allah SWT said that humans should do if we cannot live a good life in our own lands. I do not know why Quranic scholars cannot see the xenophobia and hatred in these ayats, instead of glossing over it to focus on the very thing we are told it is not. Given that the Climate Crisis is going to create likely more refugees than anything else in human history, to see these verses in this way would be far wiser than conflating it with homosexuality - which Allah SWT intended to show Muslims with these verses. I appreciate scholars and media personalities like Nouman Ali Khan and Omar Suleiman. However, they are often so biased against homosexuals that they cannot see that literally right in front of their eyes in the proof that the Quran is NOT against homosexuals or the LGBTQ+ community. Do not let your biases blind you to what Allah SWT wants the Ummah to focus on. Read the original Arabic. Look at each word and its intent. It is right in front of you if you only could see it. Surah Al-Hashr (59:21), in the Quran says: "If We had sent down this Qur'an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and coming apart from fear of Allah. And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will give thought."
Then why Allah asks them that why you approach women to fulfill their wishes + It's explicit that Qurans talks about homosexuals before that angel incident weren't they having consensual $ex with each other You cannot overlook the homophobia in Islam It's the same in all Abrahamic religions
he is not your son anymore. he belongs to the streets and the devil! He {Allah} said: "Noah, indeed he (your son) is not of your family! @@aiperas4162 you must consult a scholar/sheikh for specific and individual cases! i am only speaking in general terms. for example Prophet Abraham عليه السلام stopped trying to advise his father after it became clear to him that he was a disbeliever and then he migrated away from his people to the holy land. As for Abraham’s prayer for his father’s forgiveness, it was only in fulfilment of a promise he had made to him. But when it became clear to Abraham that his father was an enemy of Allah, he broke ties with him. Abraham was truly tender-hearted, forbearing. (Quran 9.114) Allah would never consider a people deviant after He has guided them, until He makes clear to them what they must avoid. Surely Allah has ˹full˺ knowledge of everything. (Quran 9.115)

I am not going to pretend I am perfect, but like to think that his separation from everyone but his enablers will make him miserable, or at worst be punished for in the end, depending on how much is an illness or not. If he ever wants to come back I will listen to his pains.

One problem here, "He will never be committing sins" is literally impossible. Allah says in Surah Yusuf 12:53 "And I do not seek to free myself from blame, for indeed the soul is ever inclined to evil, except those shown mercy by my Lord. Surely my Lord is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”"

But why is there still so much hate against gay people that are not a part of the Islam (or Christianity)? I mean if they are not a part of your religion, they would be able to love and feel however they like ,right? If I am wrong about something please explain it to me, I am an Atheist and not really good with religious rules.
This got me thinking of a scenario
Now, let's say a friend/child/someone close has these feelings, and you have a convo with them calm and collectively. First and foremost, they'd need to acknowledge its a sin. But here's the BUT...
What if at that certain point in their life, they are so deep in their desires (blinded almost) that they are willing to question the laws of Allah.
Whats wrong wiyh questioning? Blind faith idnt real faith
Maybe they're just going to reinterpret it so that it's in line with goodness and humanity?
You will be defeated your hatred and ignorance will be thrown into the dustbin of History.
God loves all🙏
@PokéMusolman
Oh sorry I guess the word "reject" is better here rather than "question".

Great advice bro
Remember folks just like there is a time for kindness and compassion so is there a time for harshness and discipline. Don't compromise on principles because someone dear to you asks you to.
The way I see it is that Allah SWT gave all of us desires so he can tests us if we would go for our desires or to Allah. People always says that they feel like they were born as gay or always in haram relationship but for me, I see them as people who tested to see if they would be gay because of their desire or not to be gay because of Allah. I think that is a really strong philosophical belief.
why does he test us. doesnt he already know what we will do?
@Amin_loves420 damn, 1 year later.
سبحان الله
The way you explained the situation is amazing. May allah swt reward you in this world and the hereafter آمين

Give the marriage documentary to Zeeshan instead 🤣
Should have kept him off the idiot machine (computer and smart phones.)
bruh wtf how is being homosexual a sin if you're gay you're gay tf do ppl think its a choice ??
Hey listen if your gay just don’t live a happy lifestyle. Marry the opposite sex and die in a loveless marriage Cus Allah said so or else you’ll burn in eternal flames.
Then why Allah asks them that why you approach women to fulfill their wishes
+ It's explicit that Qurans talks about homosexuals before that angel incident weren't they having consensual $ex with each other
You cannot overlook the homophobia in Islam
It's the same in all Abrahamic religions
he is not your son anymore. he belongs to the streets and the devil!
He {Allah} said: "Noah, indeed he (your son) is not of your family! Indeed, his work was other than righteous, so ask Me not for that about which you have no knowledge. Indeed, I advise you, lest you be among the ignorant."(Quran 11.46)
but you leave the door open for repentance.
But even though you need to advice that son of yours and try much as you can to return him back to Allah Noah AS tried with all his might to bring his son to the right way
@@aiperas4162 BUT you must advise according to the Quran and sunnah and not according to your own desires!
@@muslimresponse103 can you explain it more?
@@aiperas4162 you must consult a scholar/sheikh for specific and individual cases! i am only speaking in general terms.
for example Prophet Abraham عليه السلام stopped trying to advise his father after it became clear to him that he was a disbeliever and then he migrated away from his people to the holy land.
As for Abraham’s prayer for his father’s forgiveness, it was only in fulfilment of a promise he had made to him. But when it became clear to Abraham that his father was an enemy of Allah, he broke ties with him. Abraham was truly tender-hearted, forbearing. (Quran 9.114)
Allah would never consider a people deviant after He has guided them, until He makes clear to them what they must avoid. Surely Allah has ˹full˺ knowledge of everything. (Quran 9.115)

We need to talk about how hijra from the lands of disbelief has been wajib in the fatawa of the VAST MAJORITY of scholars in the history of the Ummah.
