Probably invited her but like she was talking about her schedule has been very busy lately. A lot of times it's just they don't have time for it not that they're not invited
elle fanning got her emmy nomination locked and secured with the great and hopefully this new series, she's such an amazing actress, love her sm, go girl!
Agreed. I recently binged the first three episodes of the Girl from Plainsville and I feel it would be a travesty if she doesn't get a best actress in a limited series Emmy nomination.
true, she played michelle as cringy as it could get but at the same time it was an incredible performance because of what she did to her, of course without making her the victim in the story but her change of expressions within the three episodes was just chills.
@@brxsncz Yeah, a bit into the first episode I thought Elle was a little sloppy, until I realized Michelle was pretending to be grief stricken so she could milk Conrad's death for her own validation. The way Elle was able to shift between gears to portray the facets of Michelle's twisted personality was exceptional. Can't wait for the next episode.
@@puurrrr She didn't go to some acting school but rather learned on the job. She's been acting since she was two years old, having gotten her start playing a younger version of her older sister Dakota Fanning.
Elle Fanning in *Phoebe in Wonderland* - the best performance by a child actor ever! I don't get out much, I don't have cable, and I haven't seen her in anything since, but this new flick looks fantastic, in the same vein as Phoebe but a lot darker. She can play someone who is out of kilter in a very specific way, and certainly as a kid, she nailed it. Do yourselves a favor and see that one if you haven't. She's incredible!
She actually has played a living person before. In Low Down, she portrayed Amy-Jo Albany, the daughter of jazz pianist Joe Albany. She's done a lot of great work in indie films.
Ugh, these biopics are getting waayyy too common. It’s exploitive and so unoriginal, I suppose we can expect “The Oscar Slap”-biopic in two years? Love Elle btw!
Yeah... her comment about the media painting the girl as "one -dimensional" did not endear me to Elle. Even if the girl had her own mental health issues, she demonstrated real malice after she started even encouraging him to do what he did, and then in making sure he did it.
Strange interview. It’s a dark, dark subject and neither one does a good job of explaining why anyone should tune in. The studio audience seemed disturbed into silence. Here’s my take (while I haven’t yet seen the show): yes it’s a story of tragic modern romance, but it’s a more complex tale in that Carter (Fanning) had her own struggles with depression and convinced herself that she loved him and wanted to help him. Very difficult to imagine how you can do this in a dramatic series without condoning suicide or why you would even want to!
I guess I am tired of watching married men and a woman with almost night right in front of him. I am not asking for a lot, just enough fabrick on her as is on him. He gets layers and she has to freeae. And to dress like that for a 'rip from the headlines' outfit. Sorry. But I don't want to have to dress like this or example to my daughter she has to dress a certain way and it is ok for a married man to see this. I never like to be dressing like this, even in high school

Finally Elle gets to be on the Late Show with Colbert. I'm surprised it hasn't happened earlier.
Elle was/is absolutely fantastic as Katherine the Great, I am baffled she didn't make it onto Colbert's show with that one.
Probably invited her but like she was talking about her schedule has been very busy lately. A lot of times it's just they don't have time for it not that they're not invited
She has been with colbert promoting the great when the first season was about to come out. Also promoting other stuff but she has been before.
It was actually called "The Great" because the other name was acted by Helen Mirren. However I agree with you, she was unbelievably good in The Great.
And it was astonishing she was so young
Elle is so underrated. She's an incredible actress.

How did she got into acting? What acting school
@@puurrrr She didn't go to some acting school but rather learned on the job. She's been acting since she was two years old, having gotten her start playing a younger version of her older sister Dakota Fanning.
She is both amazing and awesome. Love her.
she looks amazing in that dress
I love her. She's going to be a Super Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I always enjoy a Fanning sister interview. Maybe they'll both appear on a talk show together when The Nightengale finally comes out.
I met her the other night. It hasn’t even started.
Fantastic young woman and great actress!
She carries herself like she is in her 50s or 60s. An old soul for sure, she clearly is wise beyond her years.
She’s spoken this way since she was 2-3 years old! There’s an interview out there. Forgot the movie- one of her firsts
She is almost my same age,and i feel all of my life like and old soul,i think is almost a generation thing in my humble opinion
She is amazing in the series The Great with Nicholas Hoult. Season 1 was amazing, bold and wild.
MORE Katherine the Great please! I love her and Nicholas Holt together, they are so funny.
It's called "the Great", and she plays Catherine the Great.
Wow! The photo at 5:26 is incredible. If the rest of the show has this much attention to detail, it must be fascinating.

Elle is the smile that would light up a small city (at least).
she was sooo awesome in 'the Great'
#Huzzah
Epic dress. Incredible actor 🙏🏽❤️
One of the best actresses of our time
I love her😘 such a good actor and person 👍😃
She has grown up so much 😭 (its a bit weird to say this because we're the same age lol)
She's great actress 👏
Look at that little girl turned into such a beautiful woman
She is gorgeous…
Elle is a great actress
Awesome talent.
So adorable
She`s ..... a Hammer !!!
That woman has some Booyah.
Work . Work . Love . Peace . Joy
What’s the song the band plays on her entrance?
I tried searching with google and Shazam and came up with no results. Nice tune by the way.
1:35 oh Steve was going in for the kiss. shut down. i really wish they would work this out with the stars beforehand it's so awkward
Right?
I didn't even notice that.
Fudging love her !!!!!!
She is so much taller than her sister
God she is soooo cute 😍
Thank you for acknowledging that I have no one to talk to.
Ugh, these biopics are getting waayyy too common. It’s exploitive and so unoriginal, I suppose we can expect “The Oscar Slap”-biopic in two years?
Love Elle btw!
And they stretch them out into sometimes 10 episodes or more when it could just be a 2 hour movie! Love Elle too tho
Right:(
che carina elle fanning.
Elle Fanning?
More like BELLE Fanning! 😉
Is it correct that she had a nose job? I hope people don’t make the mistake Nicole Kidman did..
Huzzah!
She plays Catherine the Great Stephen! Lol his team needs to help prepare him better sometimes
Does the actual one-dimensional murderer benefit from hulu making a series about her life?
Yeah... her comment about the media painting the girl as "one -dimensional" did not endear me to Elle. Even if the girl had her own mental health issues, she demonstrated real malice after she started even encouraging him to do what he did, and then in making sure he did it.
She didn't murder anyone.
Is her sister Dakota still acting?
I'm sure but looks like she's better than her sister lol
Yes. She’s in the new showtime show ‘the First Lady’.

Put Elle fanning as the new harley Quinn she’s hot and would suit the role think about it joker 2 producers
Still no, Decoy.
2:50 Elle Fanning has Christian Slater's voice.
she was excellent in Trumbo.
Her pretty face is too small for that big gorgeous smile
Y do ♀️👠?!!!
Acting is 60% eyebrows, I hear.
Is this Dakota fanning grown up or something
Her sister….what is wrong with you? You realize that Elle and Dakota are different names right?
I guess I am tired of watching married men and a woman with almost night right in front of him. I am not asking for a lot, just enough fabrick on her as is on him. What are you talking about? Her dress is perfectly acceptable for the occasion and she does not act in anyway that crosses any lines.
Sis it’s 2022.
Why do we idolize psychopaths? This makes me sick…
Idolize?
Psychopaths run the country, what do you expect?
Maybe more like iconize ?
What
Another example of an actor I've never heard of in a movie/show I've never heard of. What happened to Hollywood?
You clearly haven't been paying attention.

So it's only relevant if you have heard of it? How dense are you?
So when YOU haven’t heard of it, then it’s not big enough? Since when are YOU the standard setter?
How have you never ever heard of Elle fanning?
Elle Mosquito Bites
no thanks. this is so dramatic and blonde. she is acting for gods sake., some one slap someone., this is BS stuff
That dress doesn't fit her very well, unless she wants to look like a linebacker without a hairy chest.
Another grade-Z movie star, granted ample time to show she's got nothing worthwhile to say ... only in America!
Wow, that’s harsh. I didn’t hear her trying to claim she’s an A-lister … so what’s your problem?
