I was surprised to hear that she was going to do the Little Mermaid. That would have been amazing. I would have loved to have seen the Hans Christan Anderson version told in a live-action format.

Sadly at the time they were shooting she was doing The Great and i remember think oh Elle is never gonna do that she is already pretty busy and its exactly what happened. She would perfect for the part ugh. The role she lost probably 99% sure its Jean grey from X men apocalypse, that went to Sophie Turner who was very popular at that time because of game of thrones. I believe Elle wasnt even on instagram at that time. Anyways im glad she didnt get that part and got to do other amazing projects. And of course the last two X men movies were really bad. I am really excited for her and Dakota to work together, i hope The Nightingale actually happens 🤞🏻

The Great! She’s amazing. What an actor. It’s so funny yet she provides a depth that lesser actors might struggle to achieve. My favourite comedy drama in a long time.
I feel like she’s going to be similar to Anne Hathaway. I’m definitely a fan, The Great is one of my favorite shows of all time, her fashion is great and she seems so nice and passionate about her work. Spoiler for The Great- Her saying they want to work together all the time is so sad since they killed him off 😭
