I think that Spoon FD2 is a good example of how not lowering the suspension geometry can result in good "handling". But of course everyone has the own theory of good handling.
to me the driver of the j's s2000 was driving an stepping on the break alot and if i was driving behind him i would back off and not push as much he played mental games and so to me both cars are about the same .
Tsuchiya said that it was down to driver inexperience. "Normal" drivers will countersteer when then visually see it happen, but pro drivers will predict when it happens and adapt their driving style to prevent the situation from happening in the first place.

~ 0:40:00 that S2000 sure looks twitchy, seems like the brake balance is set too far to the rear wheels.

Why did the s2000 not race the Lotus ?
Lotus used higher grade tyres than others so cannot join the race
28:29 サドンデス
spoon civic probably needed more downforce
