(BARBARA) 1. So Barbara! What a surprise! As the person who played a big role in exporting Han Kang's "The Vegetarian" to the English language market, I must ask, how do you feel? I'm guessing you would feel a lot of pride about the latest achievement.
(BARBARA) 2. Last year in your travel essay, "The Korean Book of Happiness," you confidently predicted that a Korean author would SOON win the Nobel Prize. Did you expect it to happen this quickly?
(TIZZARD) 3. Now to you Professor Tizzard, what significance do you think Han Kang's unprecedented Nobel Prize win hold for both the domestic and international literary communities?
(BARBARA) 4. now let's delve into her work, Barbara, what do you find most compelling about Han Kang's stories? Why do you think it has received such acclaim from critics abroad?
(TIZZARD) 5. What about you Professor Tizzard? what makes author Han's work stand out?
(BARBARA) 6. So Han Kang has become the first Asian woman to win the Nobel Prize in Literature.
Barbara, we hear you’ve also showcased works by other Korean female authors including Shin Kyung-sook and Jeong You-jeong. What unique qualities do you think Korean female writers have in common in their storytelling?
(TIZZARD) 7. Following news of Han's triumph, websites of major bookstores have been paralyzed due to surging demand for her works. Professor, many of us are familiar with Han's most famous work "The Vegetarian." But which of her other books would you recommend to the international audience?
(TIZZARD) 8. Now to Professor Tizzard, do you believe Han Kang's Nobel Prize will impact the global spread of K-literature and K-content, and if so how?
(BARBARA) 9. What about you Barbara? In what ways do you think Han Kang’s recognition will influence emerging writers in Korea and beyond?
(TIZZARD) 10. Professor Tizzard, even before Han's achievement, recent statistics show that 1.85 million copies of Korean literary works have been sold overseas in the past five years.
What do you think accounts for this growing interest in Korean literature?
(BARBARA) 11. Barbara, what steps do you think are necessary for Korea to produce more Nobel Prize-winning authors in the future?

You got corrected by the professor
@Henry12341 That is a DUMBEST conspiracy. Ms. Han Kang was not pro american.
And the Nobel Prize in Sweden has nothing to do with the United States!
