If its still even doable at this age, and then the health risk...if Devon went all out at a younger age he probably was like Levan Or Denis. Its better to be number 2 superheavyweight in the world and keep chasing for that number 1 spot instead of lowering your weight class and be the top there. And Devon was arguably no.2 in the world right hand prior and post Levan fight. I guess he doesn't want it that bad like other people do.
He wanted to try for world number 1 and realised he cannot do it now, so the energy would be wasted to keep trying at his age. The strongest Devon was the one who beat MMT. No one can convince me otherwise. Devon will always say he's peak before a match just to hype it up and bring attention to the sport. Preparing for a boxing match really killed his gains more than he lets on because he hates excuses and he's a tough dude. But boxing is opposite of Arm wrestling. You need to work on fully extended your arms while Arm Wrestling needs your arms to be as tight as possible. I'm not saying the Devon that beat MMT would have beat Levan, but it would not have been as one sided.
Devon said all weights on armwrestling fundamentals were higher in his preparation for Levan. Matt Mask also said Devon's practice pulling with him were stronger on Levan's prep, this says a lot
@@samuelmorin1358 of course they're going to say that they're promoting a match. Who would go into a match saying they weren't as strong as they were last time?
The biggest problem with saying he was stronger against MMT is all the guys who pull Devon in the lead up to all his big matches said he felt way stronger than they have ever felt him. I guess there was a phenomenon where all Devon's training partners got super weak at the same time in the lead up to Levan which gave them and Devon a false indication of his strength...
Thing is... Devon always gets it wrong, haha. If Devon says his 2008 self would lose against his pre-Levan self, that means the 2008 Devon would win. I'd say he was MUCH stronger back then. His hook was otherworldly actually.. watch the hook training video and watch his match with Richard Lupkes, and what Lupkes said. That Lupkes gave a hell of a match to Cyplenkov that same year.
Guys and everybody.. Ray and who ever come on guys... like how can you expect that he could do anything more against a guy 50 kg heavier in a world where the 50kg heavier guy is also training specific for years i mean... Yes an 70kg guy can beat a 100-120 kg non armwrestler or a person who is training only 1-2 years but on elite level with guys 10-15 years into the sport you cannot expect a 70kg guy NEVER EVER to win a 100-120kg guy. So same thing... it doesn´t matter how Devon trained.. how much he was prepared and all that bla bla bla... its just imposible for him to win in this conditions being 130kg vs 180kg guy. Otherwise we would see world strongest man right now with 120kg instead of 160+
If he would just up his weight more and do heavier lifting he could have a higher peak but he always makes the excuse that he feels unhealthy. Nobody feels good increasing weight at first. Just gotta get used to it.
I my opinion , Devon should tryb again be the top od the top. Becouse injury he have in round 2 , maby change thinks. Its not that clear , how match goes if he was heal. Maby same , but... There are be some questions , and we dont knows the answers.
The fact he got injured at the top of the movement and it tore because Levan drove through his max effort suggests that the strength gap between him and the top is too big.

This is the bullshit Devan has brought with him into the sport, he banked on the hope that Levon would play with him just listen to it. There was serious money involved why would anyone play around.
He never thought that Levan would play with him. He thought that he could tire levan enough over 2 or 3 rounds. I never understand why people like you hate Devon. Why would you rather have an a-hole like Levon killing the growth of the sport with his horrible personality, compared to a guy with great personality, and passion, that brings hundreds of thousands fans to the sport. Levan better thank Devon and Larry Wheels for this opportunity, because nobody even knew who the fk he was prior to a year ago
"I hoped hed play with me some more" Thats devons gimmick. He tries to tire you out by pressing after the ref says stop and stalling in the setup. Devon is someone who needs certain conditions to be met in order for him to win. If he cant do todds version kings move and if the opponent doesnt play his games, he cant win.

Will this video repeat itself or this time it will be Levan?
⚠️ the ref changed everything. Called a pin round 1 that was FAR from a pin. A pin was 2 thru 6 where Levan put Dev THRU the pad. It was a great stop & Dev could have and was GOING to exhaust the Hulk and shock the world once again!!!
You're living in a fantasy world. Not only was it a pin, it was about the 3rd time Devon's hand was on the pad in that sequence. He took him straight to the pad, just like every other time, and the refs missed it.
@@LucidStew 🤣🤣 more like Opaque stew, watch again
@@erich7662 Opaque and lucid aren't antonyms, genius.
@@LucidStew 😅
Levan is in his own weight class so of course he will win. Its not a real victory though.
Devons training would prolly be enough to beat 99.9 percent except for Levan, for him you prolly need to go crazy heavy weights again and lower reps with all the risk that comes with it and maybe less tablepractices... + be 300 lbs or over..... If its still even doable at this age, and then the health risk...if Devon went all out at a younger age he probably was like Levan Or Denis. Much respect for him tho, crazy acconplishments, close to a goat imo.
To beat Levan, you'd need to do everything exactly as Levan does but bigger and better lol
Devon is an absolute legend best of the best ❤️💪
Plain and simply everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face that's basically what happened. He got hit with a strength level he was nowhere near ready to deal with.
Its better to be number 2 superheavyweight in the world and keep chasing for that number 1 spot instead of lowering your weight class and be the top there. And Devon was arguably no.2 in the world right hand prior and post Levan fight. I guess he doesn't want it that bad like other people do.
I don't think he can or wants to put his body through all that stuff again, especially at his age.
He wanted to try for world number 1 and realised he cannot do it now, so the energy would be wasted to keep trying at his age. That is without mentioning the fact he has to be singular focussed and his relationship with his family has to take a hit to compete at that level as well as his overall health.
@@mattyone78 which is why he doesn't want it that bad. There are people who are willing to do those.
@@DrShrimpPuertoRico99 he wanted it as bad as anybody, did his best, realised the level has left him behind somewhat, then reassessed his goals. If he was younger I would expect him to try again but I believe he got realistic about what he can achieve from now on.
@@mattyone78 i see. He's too old now to re climb the mountain.
Dude devon as wolverine with that beard, thoughts?
Try again..... does he mean to try again with levan?🤩
It would be pointless
🤘🍻🤘
I mish prefer this real Devon over the prematch Devon doing a Conor McGregor impersonation.
Comments saying "unfortunately we didn't see how strong he was" get outta hear fanboys!! Problem is is that Levan is that MUCH stronger he was able to make it look like Devon was like a child pulling a man lol! Listen i was 50/50 strictly cause Devons weight and size then i went 100% Levan when Devon decided to trash talk and hope to throw Levan off his game i get it nobody has tried it so makes sence but when Levan didnt feed into and said hes gonna break Devons arm i believed it! So come match time only chance Devon had was he made Levan so mad he lost concentration but for gameplan that's all he had and we saw what happens when you piss Levan off! He said he'd break his arm and damn near did! Guarantee you guys the whoever is next to pull Levan will be on their best behavior and be nothing but respectful lol
I think today devon could go higher
Would he beat Ermes that day?
brothers in green hoodies
Thought he looked stronger v Michael Todd.
He did look very strong that day but Michael Todd is no Levan
Yes I completely agree! He just looked thicker and stronger to me. Although perhaps bordering on unhealthy looking. He looks crazy fit now! Getting ripped!
Imo, he looked stronger because his opponent was weaker. Just a matter of perspective.
@@ЭльмарИдрисов-г5э no he was actually much bigger against Todd, i imagine he was listening to people saying thats too unhealthy so he just trimmed back down.
@@ShaunLodwig1987 , he only looked bigger. Devon was 132.9kg for MMT and 130.5kg for Levan. Just 2.4kg (5.3 lbs) diffence.
For MMT , Devon was more fluffy, softer. For Levan, however, Devon was leaner and had more muscle. Which is why Devon himself says he was stronger for Levan than for MMT.
devon needs a weight training partner MT.
why u gonna title another video with something he already said in the previous video.....he said that was the strongest best version of himself
It's cool how similar in size you two look when the leg length factor is canceled out
Also due to posture
Ray's feet aren't touching the ground.
I think he panicked to much devon made a big mistake getting levon so mad because it became personal. Now there freinds. Levon said he was not even going to train but devon pissed him off so bad he trained harder then ever before.
He needed to come in about 80 lbs heavier to compete. We saw a big Devon but not big enough. Levan is just not from the world.
Even Rocky lost to Clubber the first time
In his prime years Devon remained small.
Devon at his peak beat levon on back pressure/ pronation for 1 rep and that was his best
There’s no video of his back pressure
@@Lestergreen77 performance enhanced pancakes did one where devon is talking bout his training for levon and he said 160 was the max and in the same video with Alex he did 130 on the same lift
that's literally what i commented when Todzilla said that he couldn't move Devon, the fact that had a 2v1 match before that, he wouldn't even be able to move Bowen at that point, his words AT THAT TIME were not supposed to be a metric for anybody... but guess what, delusional fanboys obviously called me a Devon hater, you guys should try practicing some common fucking sense in NA, pretty helpful tool in life
The strongest Devon was the one who beat MMT.
Oh God here we go again 🙄 another person that knows devon more than devon himself lol this is just ridiculous
@@ramonortiz3095 it's not ridiculous at all the dude loves promoting. It's all a mental game with him.
Horseshit.
This version of Larratt that faced Levan is his strongest ever, only his delusional fanboys think otherwise.
Why is it called "pumpkin" training?
if you only train one arm, it will get stronger than if you were training both arms. That's the theory
@@Mo-kl4fb That makes sense. Why call it Pumpkin though?
@@fmills1583 it's how you grow pumpkins for country fairs and shows: you feed everything into one pumpkin and make it as big and healthy as you can.
@@MrMotastic Finally! Some clarity about this ancient adage. Thanks
@@fmills1583 yeah devon explained it as cutting all the pumpkins off the vine except for 1 and letting it grow huge.
@@DP-qm6qe i know, but if he lose with out injury , people say " yeah , Levan was too strong, Devon give 100% and it was not enough but at the moment i read a lot of comment that " what if he dont get injury ?".
Do you eat shit for breakfast?
Super Saiyan Devon should have go for the Europeans first instead moving straight for Jiren (levan)
It was said 2 days ago that Devon would wear and show us a funny shirt yesterday if we kept tuning in. Here I am, continuing to tune in, with no funny shirt in sight. Why do u lie Devon? 😢
Sorry but you can’t just “play” with European who beats all other Europeans who beat all Americans. 🤷♂️
Gotta be honest, as a Devon fan, he was either dumb or lazy with his preparation, which is a shame, I believe more in the dumb part that the lazy one
How in God's name do you look at Levan and think conditioning will win it? Devon made a huge blunder not bulking up and focusing on brute power. Maybe he never thought he had a chance to get strong enough anyway.
i don't know why but devon reminds me of a beefed up squirrel
The cheeks?
Y'all still just playing catch-up to the Goat John in his prime would be blasting through all these guys🤦He's beat men bigger stronger and with way more technique than all these guys and there steroids 😆😅😂🤣😭
Lol who is Devan and who is Levon?
@@L4veyan lmaooo
It's called strategy.
I can't even tell if people actually have no clue how to spell their names, or are memeing too much
Ppl are saying Ryan Bowen was caught paying ppl to let him jack there Johnsons to train for you.
Why does he sound like his training is a secret, it definitely didn't work so why try to keep it a secret
Devon gotta do weights then only it's possible to defeat Levan, the way he trains is not the way to be a champion.
Yo!
"I hoped hed play with me some more"
Thats devons gimmick. He tries to tire you out by pressing after the ref says stop and stalling in the setup.
Devon is someone who needs certain conditions to be met in order for him to win. If he cant do todds version kings move and if the opponent doesnt play his games, he cant win.
Irrelevant. It's genetics.
