Love the work you have completed so far,one thing you might want to do is trim the pine by your deck away from your roof and siding.

Might I suggest the Ove Gloves Dan! They work great and easier to handle pots & pans :-) Baird syrup, yum. Hope you get the chance to meet them. Love their channels and Alone is one of my favorite shows. Crepes = YUMMY! Great job on the table and and many possibilities if you renovate that existing cabin...

Definitely invest in a few pairs of the OVE GLOVE!! Works great for cooking, messing with a campfire, hot anything really! And crepes are the best!! 💯🔥☀️☕️

That old led bar you found while digging under your rebuild cabin is interesting. It looks like a Ingot.

Dan, good work on your workstation. Bird houses will be a great and beneficial addition. On your storage shed project. A full removal of the old roof and replacement of damaged logs. Blacksmith forge would be in a different location for me. Good video, Dan.

Lovely sunrise and a cup of Joe with bird calls. What a way to start your day. :) I like how you are slowly fixing the cabin up. I've been following EFRT for years and now I'm following the sprog. My son cut your hair once when you and your Mom came to Sudbury. Of course he gave me pictures of the event because your family is an event every week. Oh yes, absolutely do the old run down shed project. Hopefully this means you are going to stay put for now and do the woodsman thing like a young Grizzly Adams. Looking forward to it. Thank you.

Hey Dan! Excellent job on the table, now it's a perfect working setup. Do a full repair of that cabin, it will be excellent for storage, a studio, or even a workshop if you decide to make your place a little bit bigger. Love and be safe!😘🤗🌼ve

Dan , you have turned the cabin into home sweet home. And on the small building if you are going to do work on it go all the way and restore it back to what is was. Good luck.

God's blessings upon you and yours. Amen.. The table fix looks just perfect and well though out. The birdhouse plan will give much relief from the bugs too. Beware though of your log chairs just below. Birds don't poop in their nest boxes; they sort of back out the entry and 'go' or eject the instant they take off. Its cute when one does not have to clean up after. You might think about mounting some of them in trees too. Or just away from your deck. I like the look of the tumbled down building. Restoration with some elevation would be terrific. Make the floors above ground for air flow under and with thick timber for better insulation (cold/damp) One day your son may ask you to allow him to live there! You did it first. Be sure to make tags and number ALL the logs on the old building just in case you have to disassemble it for repairs or elevation. Make a drawing showing all logs, with ID numbers. Sometimes you will have to replace logs and you can use the old ones for dimensions, for how the end cuts were made to fit other logs etc. Perhaps watch an episode of Barnwood Builders while they take down an old structure and then rebuild it elsewhere. Barnwood Buidlers is on the Magnolia Channel on cable TV in USA. I'll bet RUclips will have some footage of this type of project. The end result will enhance your property historically and practically providing the space you need for the various optional uses you mentioned and probably more uses of other fam members. Did you say your crepe recipe was 1 cp flour, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup each of milk and water with optional seasonings as one prefers? See you next Sunday. Have a blessed week,
