I like listening to it when it is played, I have been to Wacken (I llive close by) and I have a number of metal songs in my playlist but I don't go out of my way to find new stuff. So I knew of lamb of god before the audition but I would not classify myself as a fan. I still enjoy them though and when I saw the audition I felt like coming back here :) So now I will probably get back into it a bit more but not exclusively. That's so nice about music - there is so much of it!

Here's my interpretation of the song: It's about a man coping with the struggles during war with drugs The man in the song is horrified of what he has done, and feels what he is fighting for has no effect, as he says "there's no one left to save" When it says "shots fired, just to numb the pain" could be taken as either him doing heroin or some other drug to forget about the things he has done, or revenge and inflicting the pain onto others to make him forget. It's a sad song in my eyes I base my interpretation on the line "desolation never looked so devine. My skin is healed but I'm bleeding inside" meaning he has finally snapped and is looking for self destruction and destruction on the battlefield, and even tho his skin is healed, he isn't healed mentally Sorry for this, I know it's long, redundant, and poorly written, but I am pretty bad at putting my thought in writing... So this is how I see the song

Groovy! Therefore this kind of metal needs to be played in local nightclubs and discos solely due to that reason.
I'm not talking about it being the best. It's about how I feel this will become very famous.
I agree, only on the basis that brilliant metal music needs to be spread because there are defo more than a million metal listeners out there. But be glad that metal isnt anywhere near as commercialized as chart music.

Here's my interpretation of the song:
It's about a man coping with the struggles during war with drugs
The man in the song is horrified of what he has done, and feels what he is fighting for has no effect, as he says "there's no one left to save"
When it says "shots fired, just to numb the pain" could be taken as either him doing heroin or some other drug to forget about the things he has done, or revenge and inflicting the pain onto others to make him forget.
It's a sad song in my eyes
I base my interpretation on the line "desolation never looked so devine. My skin is healed but I'm bleeding inside" meaning he has finally snapped and is looking for self destruction and destruction on the battlefield, and even tho his skin is healed, he isn't healed mentally
