  • I had to make this comical to keep from getting a headache 😂
    This was the cheapest ever bag because it was free, because I sent it back! Again! 🤣🤣🤣📦 I am officially OVER IT!

    Feel free to fast forward as needed 😊 I just wanted to capture the moment fully, so there are some quiet moments during my quality control inspection. And to clarify: I considered keeping the first bag I received if they could repair the issue and they could not.

    I kid you not, I ordered this exact bag 4 TIMES!!!! And returned 3. The fourth one still wasn’t great quality but it’s the one that had the least amount of flaws so I kept it. One bag had a crooked handle, a crooked lock, another had glazing issues, one was dirty on the inside of the bag. The embossing was very faint on another one. It was such a headache. I learned my lesson though and will definitely not be shopping at LV anymore. They need to get it together. This is not the first time I’ve encountered quality issues with bags I’ve purchased in the past from them. To add insult to injury. One of the bags I returned for a replacement was sent right back to me as if they assumed I wouldn’t notice that it was the same bag.

Both bags had bits of blue “something” in them and idk what that is. I’m telling you, this has been like a bad joke. Do you live near a store or you had to ship it back 3 times?

      @@TheHopefulminimalist no, I’m about an hour and a half away from a store so I shipped them all back. Pink is my favorite color and this particular shade they came out with is my absolute favorite so that’s why I kept trying. One of the bags I returned also had debris in it as well. It looked like tiny green specks in each pocket. The one I chose to keep only had a small glazing issue that’s not that noticeable unless you’re looking for it. This situation definitely opened my eyes and this is my last purchase with them. There are so many brands out there that are better quality.

      @@A1yssa0 interesting about the debris. I like pink too..it was the pale, cool, pink and the hardware which wasn’t too too gold that made me fall in love with this bag. I’m so sad about it.

    I agree with you, if DUYP makes the Paris 15 le petit in any shade of pink, I’m buying it too.
    I definitely purchased the mini pochette in the pale pink.
    But the LV is beautiful too

    I'm a New Subbie! I am sorry, and I feel your pain. I would definitely send the LV handbag back. For the price of the handbag, there shouldn't be any quality issues.

    That’s a beautiful bag! I love the baby pink color and East West style. They equal perfection!
    we always have to do quality control check on our bags.

    This is super disappointing. The bag is a beautiful color and I love the pochette Métis in the east west silhouette far more than the full size one. So everything about this bag is perfect. But there is no excuse for them to have sent you a second bag in such poor condition. These bags cost so much money. It feels like maybe this isn’t the bag for right now unless you can buy it from the boutique in person to inspect before taking delivery. That would be my recommendation. I feel so bad cuz this was a birthday bag. 😢 Fingers crossed Melodie makes your bag for you. 💕

      You're right! The size of the East West is so perfect and that's why I've had my eye on it for so long. I felt the regular monogram was overpriced so I considered the Dune monogram and now this one. It's just not working out and my hard head finally gets it!

    I’m SO sorry, Sabrina. That bag cost too much money to be going through this a 2nd time. The quality inspection should have been done in store. There are multiple flaws on this bag. Unacceptable. And debris, no way. I would definitely return it. Your content is so genuine. You will never drive me away.

    My Pochette Métis was purchased when they were having glazing issues. They reglazed it at no charge. It has been 6 years & the glazing is coming off the same place with cracks. As much as I love LV, I think I need to find another brand to love.

    😢 sorry that happened again! Maybe it’s not meant to be, or at least for now. Maybe take a pause and wait until you can go into the LV boutique and inspect it before you purchase?

      @@TheHopefulminimalistWhy don’t you get an SA at any boutique? I got mine through the 1-800 number because I’m not near a boutique. Mine is clear across the country but he’s been amazing. He always inspects my bags first, takes video to send me and makes sure I’m happy before shipping to me.

    I ordered the Neonoe BB in Rose Opale online and it came with such faint embossing on the side you could hardly tell it was embossed. Had to go to a store to get the last one available in my city. Luckily that one was fine, but QC at LV is lacking.

      You absolutely not being too critical. The past 6 months I have had to either return or send to repairs for NEW items. Not purchasing again for awhile.

      @@TheHopefulminimalistmy noe bb strap glazing was completely peeling off. I bought it a few months ago! A planner the binder totally came out and I used it twice and that was AFTER repair 😬

    I'm sorry it didn't work out. Like you, 10 years ago, or even 4, I would not have looked at any bag at the high level of detail we all do now. Sometimes I wonder if these high end bags were ever perfectly pristine, or if people just didn't examine them in great detail before. But it is clear LV does not inspect their bags at all, at least not now, as you just saw. The one bag I got from there, they presented to me with an unfixable flaw on the strap, a hole that was not punched out so you couldn't even really use the strap fully. I was mad because it's an hour's drive each way through DC area traffic and so I had to leave it, reorder, and come back another day. Won't even talk about my glazing issue. I don't know if the bags were perfect before, but they sure aren't now. They sell general design and status, not so much 'superior quality'

      Good point. They probably were not perfect before, but I do think some of the issues are glaring and seem to be careless errors. We are also much more scrupulous with the prices being so high. Thank you for sharing your experience!

    I enjoy watching designer unboxings, but I would never pay thousands of dollars for a bag! I would rather have a Coach bag or Dress up your purse! I’ve heard the quality with many designer houses have gotten worse! Return it and say good riddance!! Thanks for sharing!

      Coach and DUYP are definitely some of my favorites and go to bags. I think your philosophy on expensive bags is definitely a good one; I still like dabbling in them for now, but I have to say the quality of Coach and DUYP is oftentimes much better. Thanks for watching 😊

      I’ve always had amazing customer service. Not sure if she ordered this online but if she did no one would be looking at it before shipping. That’s what my CA is for. He inspects my bags and takes a video to show me before shipping me the bag.
