- Sis, DRESS UP YOUR PURSE just saved me THOUSANDS‼️‼️‼️ I’ve wanted to add the Louis Vuitton East/West Métis to my collection for a while but there’s always been an issue with that bag.
The handbag community reported issues with glazing to peeling and other defects. Considering the price of that bag….WHEW‼️‼️‼️ I couldn’t justify spending that coin‼️
So I took a chance and pre-ordered this piece from Dress Up Your Purse. It took 8-12 weeks to arrive. Today I’m unboxing it with you and giving you my honest review.

I returned two LV Pochette Metis in reverse mono because of cracking. The second time I got an Alma bb. I want this!! Because if it cracks the price point is not as extreme. ❤

This bag is all leather with the exception of the hardware and the additional webbed strap, which is comfortable to wear.I love LV but the glazing against the canvas situation isn’t always the best option.I’d much rather vachetta trim. This bag checked all the blocks and then some. We’re not just hyping it up either, it’s that good.
You and Sabrina are NOT about to have me going down the rabbit hole placing orders every week from DUYP. I got a package in route right now. Ordered something last week. Please, spend less time talking in the beginning and making us wait for you to open the package. You should have already taken the plastic off instead of watching you fuss with it and we still did not see the bag fully until much later. Talk about the bag while you are showing it and stay on topic. Most of your video shows just your head and the background of your closet and not the bags you are presenting. You have to put the bags next to your face for us to see the bags…not good. Tilt the camera down so we can see the bag or move your camera back a couple of feet. Good info and good job, best!

I have the original Paris 15in black. I bought it because I’ve always wanted the pochette Métis, but wasn’t sure that style would work for me. I agree, these bags are gorgeous in person and very well made; HOWEVER, in my bag, I think the sizing is a bit off. If I put items in every pocket (even minimal items), the flap cover buckles when I close the bag. I don’t think it’s supposed to do that.

The DUYP version of the Métis is pretty unbelievable, especially for the price considering it’s actually made better than LV. I sold my Pochette Métis bc it had to be sent in 2 times for different issues. It wasn’t well made. These are beautiful in comparison
@@SaabGuy-mq3cw I keep hearing similar arguments from Pochette Métis owners. I’d love to have that bag but I don’t want the issues so I haven’t committed to purchasing it. I’m more than satisfied with my DUYP pieces.

Thank you for this video! I could not agree with you more about DUYP. Melodie has great pieces at great prices. I have been eyeing the Petite Paris 15, because I am also wanting the LV EW Metis, but I hate paying over 3k for it....
Hate is an understatement. Do you know how many vintage pieces we can get for the price of one bag?😫 I’m not opposed to buying new because I’ve done it. But the quality has to be there if I’m paying that much money.

@@ezamis it’s black. Unfortunately the editing software I use makes it took a bit blue and it drove me crazy! However, I made a few short videos to give everyone a closer look at the bag. In case you’re wondering, the Navy is GORGEOUS too! And the buttercream. Rumor has it that the burgundy will be available and that color is a deep oxblood/wine/berry. So pretty.
An orange one and a Kelly green sounds nice too. I wonder what shade of orange 🍊 though? Now I’m curious.

TFS!!!❤❤️ I finally got a chance to preorder the same Mini Boston bag in all black from DUYP. I’ve been waiting since March of this year to order it. The website says 3-4 weeks but I’m hoping it ships sooner. There are a few SLGs I want from DUYP as well but I need to get my preorder before buying multiple products 😅.
