    I didn't realize it's not accredited! This was such a helpful video.

      None of them are: Precision Nutrition, ACE, ISSA, NCI.
      Third party accreditation requires a proctored exam and lots of rules and regulations. Therefore,all the certification companies are not requiring third party accreditation for nutrition coaching because it is different than becoming a Registered Dietitian.
      That said, NASMs course is well recognized... as much or more so than the others.

    Very helpful video.. thank u so much.. I noticed that nasm has both nutrition coach and sports nutrition coach programs.. what is the difference between the 2 or which is better or does the program overlap like the sports one is it nutrition plus sports specialisation? Which is the best nutrition course which is recognised globally?

    Is there any accredited NC program out there?

    • @BS-by5nw
      @BS-by5nw 9 месяцев назад +1

      Nope. You have to earn a bachelor's in nutrition, complete an internship, and then take the board exam to be a Registered Dietitian.
      But courses from NASM and others are well recognized in the fitness industry and qualify you to work as a nutrition coach.

    They are not accredited? ACE says they are accredited along with a few other programs.

      There is no certifying agency for Nutrition Certifications, but they are recognized globally. It's to gain more skills & knowledge.

      ACE is accredited only for Coaching just like NASM Wellness Coach is which includes extensive Nutrition beyond basic nutrition, in their NASM Curriculum. Nutrition "alone" _(anywhere)_ is Not Accredited and is for Knowledge, skills & expertise purposes only. You get a "Certification of Completion". It is something you add to your current or other Credentials as a Chef, Fitness Trainer, Yoga Instructor, Healthcare professional, Life Coach, etc. the list goes on. Health or Wellness Coaching programs add Basic nutrition science in their programs so you can Coach clients on making better nutrition choices to improve their health.
