Hey Mike, what is your suggestion when cutting them as active with dsp, i'm thinking to use my tweeters (pioneer b350pro) with like 6-8khz 12db octave slope maybe? and do they really can be able to handle 100w rms continious musical power when you cut them 3khz or something around it? because i think it would be not good to cut them below 4khz with 12db slope in active. Espically when you push them with around 100w rms which is really huge wattage for a tweeter in my opinion. Thanks in advance!
Had mine cut at 5k with 500hz overlap with my mids. Believe was 24db might have been 12db slope. Im running 100w rms a piece to mine. Only blown 1 so far but was do to wire shorting on the body. They fucking scream but they arent harsh and painful like the prv version or other similar models
Didnt put them in the doors. Factory location for tweeters was under a removable plate in the far corners of my dash board so dremeled out those areas, had little plates made to hold 2 of these in those locations, total 4, and had the plate covered in grill felt. Stock appearance massive performance. Only 8s in the front doors and 6.5s in the back doors. Everything tuned and attenuated accordingly

You can over drive them and cut back on the volume control
How are you putting this in doors without cutting a hole on the panel? I'm trying to do the same

Just to be sure you have the 25mm drivers from Hertz right?
@@RickRoood yes hence the box and title being about the st25s
Are they 100 watts rms as a pair or is 1 st25 100 watts rms?
I believe they're 50rms each but I run 100rms each to them have 4 2 in each upper corner of dash ran actively on dsp
The person who installed them and the ST35’s are getting 150 - 180 watts rms
I Got The St35 but I don’t really see a big difference
ST35’s are louder but more harsh HP 4K 18db
High Passed at 4Khz at 18 db I have 4 on my Motocycle
2 ST35’s done the same
