It delivers a unique combination of style, comfort, interior versatility, on-road performance, and off-road capability that no other compact luxury SUV can match. Land Rover describes the Discovery Sport as a Compact Luxury SUV, but when you climb into this vehicle it feels anything but small. The Discovery Sport is the least expensive SUV in the Land Rover line-up with a starting price of $37,455. There are 3 levels of trim and the model tested here is the HSE LUX edition which comes in at $45,955.
Under the hood is a turbocharged 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 240 horsepower and 250 lb-ft. of torque. The motor is mated to a 9-speed automatic ZF transmission. Haldex AWD is standard. The drivetrain is relatively snappy and responsive. Fuel economy checks in at 20 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway.

I have this as a loaner car while my lr4 is in the shop. a base version and i hate it. also one of the worst stock car radios ive herd in a while. it really sucks. the higher versions probably have a nicer one.
