The single trait about Purdy that I just can't shake. As the great Ron Jaworski always used to say on Edge NFL Matchup, Purdy is elite at staring down the gun barrel, taking a big hit, and completing the pass.

I hate to be the Kittle guy, but 4th best offensive tool is wild. Dude is one of the reasons McCaffrey is doing so well. In the Lions game, he erased Aidan Hutchinson from the run game including all 3 TDs on the ground which were run right to that side. 1000 yards and 6 TDs isn’t all he does.

Shannihan has indeed not learned his lesson. Shan will create a plan and stick to it no matter what. Even if up big, he will still run the same gameplan, which is higher probability of mistakes.
My main worry is definitely CMC. Chiefs against the run have been food and CMC could Terrell Davis them boys. I feel like the Chiefs will neutralize the Niners passing attack tbh, I have a lot of faith in Spags in that regard, but we'll see how it plays out.
I predict that the Chiefs will win....25 to 22 and Christian will have around 160 total yards...but that the Chiefs DB's will basically shut down the trio of Aiyuk, Samuals and Kittle on the way to an OT victory for the Chiefs and Mahomes! :)
Purdy's got some great highlights, but he also skated on some turnover-worthy plays that he can't afford against the Chiefs. KC takes a lot of calculated risks on defense. The way to beat them is to play ugly, like Baltimore tried to do. They're going to try to stuff the run with extra hats, and make that pressure into a pass rush if the QB keeps it. When I say "win ugly," it's because you're going to take some sacks, but you're also going to get some mismatches. If Purdy can elude the pressures, the clever zone blitz KC dialed up to win with pressure will break down. That's the Zay Flowers TD, where the coverage held up long enough for Chenal to get home, but Chenal didn't finish, even though he got there in time. Early on, KC might have more success running than SF, if SF comes right out trying to run and KC comes right out trying to stuff the run. SF may have to come out with a blitz-beater mentality, knowing Purdy's going to take his licks, but they're going to get man. KC's pretty disciplined in their pass rush, albeit not always in a hurry to get there. Just close in,
Spot on. It’d be cool to have SF win their 6th ring! However I cannot ignore, nor underestimate the Sith Lord Spags & the defensive game plan he’ll have dialed up for Purdy & Co.
Just a note: when an offensive player changes his position and resets, it is a shift. If he remains moving during the snap, it is motion. So many YT creators get this wrong.
