Wanted to repeat this here, this was a super last minute stream that I tacked on to the end of another scheduled stream. I typically hate feeling unprepared but my community really wanted me to check this out and I managed to get my hands on it right before the end of the GB so I thought it would be fun to learn about it live with everyone. I apologize I didn’t get to fully research this board before hand.
the disbelief counter haha absolutely love it. Hope you've had a great day. Ordered mine exactly how you got yours and im so excited after seeing how it looked
Yeah ok I think the 65% market is done now (in a good way I mean) it's getting cheaper and cheaper to get in and everything is of good quality. So I would love to see more layouts getting this kind of treatment.
We're starting to get to point where shipping is gonna cost more than the actural board. (shipping to Toronto is 40 USD, it does include customs fees, but custom fees at that price is like 5 bucks)
im not a fan of screwless design because i like messing with my boards often and its slightly more annoying. however the board is 65$ cant really complain too much
Yeah they seem to mark up the price too when going to a country that ISNT the US. It starts at $65 USD but on their website its listed at $115 CAD, even though $60 USD converts to roughly $90 CAD. Add on a hotswap PCB, shipping ($60), taxes, and all of a sudden this "$65 USD" board ends up being $200 CAD
@@Doobiesan i agree. its total bs of a delivery fee and currency markup. theyre basically luring newbies who dont know any better into buying this ripoff after trickling people with the '65$' tag. Honestly Alexotos just became a ad youtuber now that just dickrides all the keyboards that he got sent
I was thinking about grabbing this board, but for me it would end up being a $170 keyboard kit with shipping and taxes, which puts it just between something like a neo65 and a neo80 while also being a group buy. How do you think this board compares to the neo boards without taking price into consideration?
It seemed awesome until you get hit with 55 euros shipping to Europe, then it doesn't make much sense anymore... Also the base price when buying from Europe is around 74 euros for some reason which converts to 80 dollars...
This fake seam just kills me. Initially i thought it being right at the middle is just some kind of a cost cutting measure but why in the world would you make it decorative ?

I like the learning as you go and being surprised method!
I’ve paid $65 for a PCB before…
and ive paid 70 haha. crazy boards are getting so cheap
80, I feel ur pain
the disbelief counter haha absolutely love it. Hope you've had a great day. Ordered mine exactly how you got yours and im so excited after seeing how it looked
Seams make a board so special and it looks so elegant!

It’s $125 for me, $100 shipping. I’m good on this one
Shipping into Canada as a whole is an absolute nightmare lol
There was a time in the keyboard world where this would have been a $350 GB
a keyboard with a $100 price tag can be considered a luxury at this point.
im not a fan of screwless design because i like messing with my boards often and its slightly more annoying. however the board is 65$ cant really complain too much
if it had used exposed screws, it could have been even cheaper. easier to design, easier to manufacture.
If shipping to my country didn't cost as much as the keyboard I would order it
This. shipping to SEA costs more than half the board's base config price. was also gotta get this if not for that.
Same

@doobiesan, this. It says 74 euros for the base which is definetly not a 1 to 1 conversion...
That faux seam could be cool to paint an accent color
This sounds way too amazing for 65. Add +1 to your Counter xD. Great work, Mate!
wow, we finally getting boards with a more reasonable price point??? They need to start doing this...

Buying this from LA is like the best cuz their's typically almost no shipping costs
the price and that color you have is just soo gooodd. too bad its only at divinikey... shipping is crazy for us in Asia 😭
I’ve paid 65$ for the Kohaku shipping, lol.. great board for that price ❤
As someone who does not have their MKC board, I may pick this up to fill the void in my heart...
i realy like it but no ISO Support

Got one in black with the silver accents
too bad shipping is more than the board itself..
meh, would still rather get a neo65 for $100 aftermarket, id say thats the champion of budget 65. great advice at the end as always!
budget keeb options are going crazy rn
$200 CAD after everything LOOL
Same issues as every other budget board.... No e white option... Only cream or silver :(
probably fully cnc’d tbh, i mean there are literally 35$ boards that are cnc’d
$94aud shipping to australia 😢
sadly shipping to EU is another 65$
What is the tkl on top?
constance tkl

if youre canadian its closer to $200
Group buy and ships mid to late Q1 2025
No, in zero ways is this only $65.
meanwhile Keycult selling full alu for $580 plus tax lool
no oooOooO
do they call it the Tess65 because its $65
probably twofold. 65% and $65
@@praenotoa number 65 that tesselates
never thought i would see a neo contender that's even cheaper - other than the screwhole + other finishing issues it's honestly pretty nice
It is nice value, but doesn’t compare to the neo
Hey Alex! I sent you a message on insta regarding TKC shutting down. I wanted to see if I can work with you!
