If we're simply talking boxing skills of course Mayweather trumps McGregor but here's why I wouldn't be shocked by a McGregor KO: McGregor has the most unorthodox approach to fighting and is the most outside the box thinker in terms of trying to beat his opponent. McGregor obviously has to KO Floyd to win since Floyd can out point any man on this planet when it comes to racking up points for a decision. Also, Vegas has been very controversial when it comes to siding with Mayweather every fight which explains why he fights only in Vegas. I expect Floyd to be very cautious in the first few rounds in anticipation of an aggressive McGregor who everyone says has to KO floyd in the early rounds and also to read his rhythm and movement. Adding to the point I just made, I think McGregor probably has to take the complete opposite approach to what everyone thinks he's gonna do (attempt KO in the early rds) and conserve his energy (which he learned how to do in the Diaz fight) and try to take out Floyd in the middle to later rds. How is he gonna do this? No one will know until fight night but I guarantee you McGregor's unorthodox approach to fighting will be the key to defeating Mayweather like no else has attempted to do so before. Mcgregor and his trainer even said that they will take a different approach than anyone else because obviously there hasn't been a successful formula to beat Floyd yet. And this my friends, is what I'm excited to see: Mcgregor taking a never before seen, unorthodox approach to try to defeat one of the greatest boxers of all time. Don't say Mcgregor has no chance because if the mighty Tyson was able to be taken down by Buster Douglas, I see no reason why McGregor has no chance to beat Floyd
