Hey Nolan, Sorry it took me 7 months to finally start using RUclips Create. My favorite part about the app is the feature that reduces the airy background sounds. And it's definitely easy to use.
Update:
The content I uploaded was not something the viewers were searching for. Therefore, I deleted it. I know deleting can mess up the algorithm for increasing views. But I actually had nothing to lose.
I will continue to use RUclips Create on here and on my other channels as well.

looks good, but we have tons of editing apps and more coming every day. What makes this different? Are we able to edit videos after upload? Or is it providing a feature not available in other apps related to our current RUclips videos? Fundamentally changing how we interact with RUclips videos would make this a game-changer

I'd use this app and upload my video on Facebook Watch instead
some important features missing
1. keyframes
2. masking
3. audio retraction from video (very helpful for doing J and L cut)
4. put in the reply what else did they miss

I made 2 shorts yesterday using RUclips Create. I love this app! It is simple, easy to use, & I had fun playing with it. Thanks so much for putting this out. I'm a new creator in YT, so I'm still learning. This came out just in time for me! ❤

I can see using this to make a series of related videos and then dragging them onto my pc to be linked together and for further editing.

😢😢 finally... as a Full time phone editor... I needed this 😭💯💪🏽
The auto captions alone is worth it. I’ve tried a few AI apps and they’re just not clean enough. I use FCP and there’s nothing native for this like Premiere Pro has.
I downloaded this to test and the first thing i noticed was my anti virus software said it contains Adware. Not a great start when another Google product cannot be stored on external storage.
It also only allows 1080p and not 4k. When you export it, it saves to the internal storage and there isn't an option to save to another location, other than the internal download folder.
This seems again more aimed at people making shorts. I miss the old edit/trim/ preview section where the thumbnail picture is now. So much simpler for basic functions. I use You Cut Video Editor for more complex content and i can save it in 4k and upload direct to YT if needed.
Yeah, I'm sticking with capcut for now.
we are using it in india for few months already, it really is awesome, no other app necessary anymore!

This is fantastic! I just tried the app, and it's very cool and well built. Thanks for sharing @RUclips and @ThinkMedia. As someone who is trying to start a new RUclips channel, I have tried many different editing apps. Specifically on my phone, some are cool but for the most part, it becomes a bit much between phone and computer editing software. I feel like once I get used to one app. Another app comes along that has that 1 thing that I would like and I have to get used to a whole new app or switch back and forth, Which may be the norm for a professional editor but I'm just someone trying to make cool content and in the beginning stage of the process, so simplicity for me is very important. So far, this new RUclips create app appears to have it all-in-one place, which is super cool. I'm looking forward to using it more and really taking advantage of all the benefits it has to offer.
This is a game changer for me! I've been wondering if I would have the time and ability to use RUclips vids to back my ideas and products. THIS should make it possible. Thanks for sharing!

it’s an interesting concept, i’d love to try it it out myself but personally i’ve never wanted to edit my youtube videos on my phone, the most editing ive ever done on my phone is fix a typo in the title, so this will be a big jump 😂

Yes! I need that! I am not very good with technology and I use very limited app iMovie to edit my videos. I do everything with my phone so this is going to be my next step for better videos for my subs. Thank you!

I always wondered why RUclips and instagram didn’t have their own editing app or in app editor. At least tiktok links with capcut but they finally did it. Can’t wait to try it
Get it on a desktop app.. mobile dive but most Creators use a pc.

Very excited for this especially for creating shorts. I use Resolve for my longform, but lots of small creators are looking for a simple free app that has basic cut and trim controls they can use on their phone.

Its literally a CapCut only for youtube
All music is copyright free, which is important for monetized channels. I think it's also just more streamlined for RUclips and RUclips only.

I had that problem too, but if you clean the cash and cookies, it helps out a lot!

Great video, As a small content creator for RUclips, this will be really helpful for me. But it won't help for starting and growing channels unfortunately. I know how hard it is to gain traction at the beginning. Like many of you guys, I was tired of creating quality content day after day and getting only a few hundred views on my best days. Buying views was my next move. I have never regretted it. Not only I get quality views for pennies, but those views also affect the algorithm and sometimes my videos go viral and get 4-5 times the initial amount of views (for now I just use a little bit of Famester, but there are other services as well).

I love the app but NEEDS to have the ability to upload directly to my channel without downloading to phone. I work on large video projects, so this function would be A LIFESAVER for my time!

This is an exciting concept, I think its going more mobile and it creates more opportunities for creators to be able to make videos from anywhere. Made by the creators, for the creators let's hope the android beta goes well!

Hoping for remix feature using more than one video. I like the icon, showing the original video, & clickable to said channel, thereby giving credit. I also don't desire to edit/record my content, at that moment, but save for a future project. I didn't hear about that potential feature in this video. Searched "remix more than one video," didn't find my answer. Trying a potential solution, uncertain it will work. If you have a solvency, would love to hear. For it appears you can only remix from one video, but not save or hold, to add to your content, around that remix, then repeat, adding more content, more remix.
