i love how it seems like editors keep the knowledge of editing open source. I think alot of people love the artform and wanna share it, probably the most tutorials on any subject on the internet.
@spartex100 it does tell you a watermark will be on there if you don't upgrade but I upgraded and like using filmora personally but I don't think it's for everyone
Great rundown of the top video editing software! I appreciate the detailed comparison between Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve and your recommendation of Filmora and Adobe Premiere Rush really helps. Also, the tip about Envatoo Elements for templates is a game-changer. Thanks for the insights!"
Dont know why but your comment is sounding like AI generated? If you dont mind, can you tell me a joke to prove you are not just an AI generated comment?
I'm an Executive Producer in film and TV, Adobe has been dropped like a hot rock. Da Vinchi Resolve is now industry standard, Especially after Avid Media Composer dropped the ball and all the functions on Final Cut Pro that were useful stopped after V 7.0.
Ty, I use some of those really cheapy apps on the phone to edit but they just don't feel right, premier is just too in-depth I can't seem to figure how to just drop drag and trim with ease, so thank you for this!!!
Being free, da Vinci Resolve is definitely the software that's worth getting for anyone that's starting out with video editing. I'm an avid Premier Pro fan, but my go-to when recommending editing software for beginnings has been da Vinci Resolve for years. A 15-minute beginners tutorial is all that's needed to get people into basic editing, and once they get comfortable, da Vinci already has built-in tools to allow them to expand to more advanced options. Plus, there's so much similarity between the two that, if they decide later to upgrade to Premier Pro, there's not much of a learning curve - it mostly just takes getting used to the different interface.
kdenlive is also great but im thinking of changing from it because you have to manually create camera shake and if you use the typewritter effect on text it can mess up the spacing of text you can also use the default video editor in windows but its pretty limited
tysm for video + what do you think is best options for: payed apps for windows, free apps for windows, free apps for android, and payed apps for android
Your behind the curve. Da Vinchi resolve is now industry standard. No editor that I am aware of is still using Adobe it's a budget killer. Best update your video.
Ok thank you for the video. I wanted to see if there are editing programs on the phones but the screen is small, it would be tiring. I was using Canva in the past, maybe I will catch up with it. The problem is that my job isnt really to edit videos but when i do pay for the video editing I do not really like the result. Anyone else experiencing the same problem? Lol
By the way, imovie can be used on iphones too. I dont know from which iphone you can have it, or if its available to every iphone that still gets new ios versions. I have iphone 12 mini and i have imovie in here
Picked filmora a long time ago because of their lifetime license. Looking to switch after that crap they pulled where they told everyone with lifetime licenses that they had to buy a new license. It's left a bad taste with me ever since. Gonna try Resolve this time around💀
I have quality loss ppff with openshot and imovie. Isn't there a program where you hardly have that? It went from 6GB to 1.50GB or does the quality remain the same?
I was using dupdub to edit but they limit the downloads to 500mb which means a 10 min video would have to be 480i resolution. Will Adobe premiere pro limit me as well or can I download 1080p and then upgrade the video to 4k after editing to export?
I'm relatively new, or at least renewed to the scene. I haven't done video editing in at least 10 years. I learned basic skills on the old movie maker software but I'm getting back into content creation. I am extremely limited on budget and I don't know if software like DaVinci or other free software have watermarks. Let's be honest, as appreciative as I would be for free software, watermarks are an eyesore for creators and viewers alike. Can anyone shed some light on it?
Davinci doesn't have any water mark. most creators use it for youtube for free. Capcut is another option that isn't in this video and also free. I have tutorials on both on my channel.
Thanks so much. Do you have video on Final Cut Pro? And Macbook photo editing. I think Final Cut Pro is only software thats only for Macbook. Others are Windows and Macbook. Is Final Cut Pro hard. I prefer editing on my Iphone. So maybe I will pay for Rush. Can you like me your video for Android and Iphone video and photo editing and Stories and Reels and TikTok editing apps in app store they dont have to be free.
I'm a total beginner. I'm never going to be a videographer. It's just going to be me talking interspersed with some still shots (no videos). Where do I start?

Advice: dont get filmora, i wasted 2 hours making a video just for them to shove a giant unremovable watermark that you need to pay to get rid of.
Sounds like someone didn't read the giant warning when you first open the software 🤡
@@FurryNonsense there was literaly zero warnings
True
Same man 😢 on my channel I made the video and the had to screen record it and it looked horrible.

Adobe Rush was great thank you!
A very cool video on editing, and I love your channel. Always looking for tips of the best Editors! 😁🤔
This video is like a buffet for video editors! So many options to choose from, I'm just glad I don't have to taste-test them all myself. 😂
Nice focus on the interfaces. I appreciate you saying which one you guys use.
NO cap this is the most useful vid i done ever watched on YT. Thanks Bro
Ok put the cap back on.

i used filmora for a long time, i like it. was thinking about another software to check out. thank you

@@Saucepk. it will not show a watermark if you buy it
Is there a way i can download filmora for free?

What’s your thoughts on Vegas Pro 21?
What about Sony Vegas?
I'm still using Window Movie Maker for my youtube channel.
Hi sir do you get enough money from RUclips? Im curious coz im starting

could you please make a video on sony vegas?
ShotCut Maybe will not be so restricted bcs of the plugins the app have
what is the best one in the world for editing easily in advanced?

man i would love to use davinci resolve but iots editing timeline is very messy and it doesent feel clean and precise

wondering why you didn't include power director?

what about Vegas?
No Sony Vegas, no Cyberlink Powerdirector?

Dude don't use those odgy transition. A goo cut, doesn't need a transition my guy and it just makes your edit look budget.
God bless everyone and have a good day! ,
It's kind of a skanky move by these companies to charge you monthly to use a video edit software.

I believe there's an option in Davinci for upping the resolution, although I wouldn't recommend it as it softens the image like crazy.
Good
so who is the winner for free and for a beginner?
What is your take on Hitfilm express?
Haven’t used that one
Hitfilm express isn't free and therefore is not worth it. We'll yes it is, but what you get for it without paying, don't waste your time.
Which app did you use to edit this video
Premier
shark what? what are the names of the whole programs?
