Nothing but bliss, can’t express the love I have for this team. They look like the fightins, they just won’t go away. They just keep finding ways to win in so many ways whether it’s the bats or the pitching or both. They’ve gotten better every year after breaking the 11 year drought, it’s only a matter of time of time. It’s our turn fellas
Average teams don't win games like this. Even good teams usually don't. The Phillies had 3 starters out--if you include Trea Turner--and they come back in the ninth, on the road, and beat the Mets in 10. This is what GREAT teams do. Hats off to Sanchez for hanging in there into the sixth, and hats off to Edmundo Sosa subbing for Trea. We need a team effort, and we are getting it.

1. Stott is alive and dangerous
2. Sosa has been clutch and really hustles
3. Nick should not steal bases and should stick to what he does best-grounding out into double plays

I laughed so hard when Nick pulled that. I knew they could pull it back, so I wasn’t a ton worried. It was kinda stupid. But that’s alright. 😂

The last couple of years the boys were relying on the HR too much and AZ exposed that. This year the Phils are winning in different ways even when not at their best. Stotts AB in the 10th was beautiful to watch. Instead of going for the fences with two strikes you could see him cut down on his swing and get the ball in the air for a sac run. With their pitching, if the boys keep this approach, they will be really tough to beat.

All we need is a closer, and that's that. I want the A's closer, but we should wait until he cools off some to lower the price.
Kerkering will be that guy. He might not be there yet, but he has what it takes.
What they need in the bullpen is for Dominguez and Soto to pitch up to their capabilities consistently. If they get it together, the bullpen then has three righthanders (Kerkering, Hoffman, Dominguez) and three lefthanders (Strahm, Alvarado, Soto) that could be considered the best combined bullpen in MLB.

An exit from this team has to be found for Sanchez, Dominguez, Walker and Soto. These pitchers just aren't reliable in any way, and will only harm the Phillies chances in the post season.
