I wanted to pay tribute to #EddieGuerrero and his family and friends by keeping his legacy alive and well to remember Eddie 15 years on from his passing on November 13th

eddie is one of the wrestlers who bring back WWE's popularity during the Ruthless Aggression Era on the masses here in our country. since SD is the only show that can be seened on free TV back then many kids including me encouraged to be glued on TV and wait for him..

He had such charisma and personality. He use to bring me to tears laughing with in ring antics. He had the gift of gab. He could have done anything he wanted to in life. He chose the family trade and succeeded to become one of the most loved wrestlers of all time. His mantra of "Lie, Cheat and Steal" is right up there with "Know Your Role", "What, What"! RIP Latino Heat!

Eddie will never die cause legends never die my favorite wrestler of all time after he passed I stopped watching wrestling. I loved watching smackdown eddie was definitely the highlight man his death hit me hard but all the memories he left us with are awesome. I will never forget when eddie suplexed ray mysterio on some steel stairs freaking awesome I was like damn that was hard. And then there's eddie and ray Halloween havoc 1997 hell yeah great match. R I P Eddie gone but not forgotten legends are forever.

Eddie Guerrero was the reason I started watching wrestling, watching his amazing feuds back in 2004 with the likes of JBL and kurt angle. His intoxicating charisma , he was a pure entertainer. I remember in late 2005 my dad bought tickets for the smackdown wrestlemania revenge tour that was coming to my home town just after wrestlemania 22, I was so excited to see my favourite performer. A week later I tune into raw and find out he was gone, that was a rough, rough time for little eleven year old me. I never knew you Eddie but to quote the big show, the only comfort I have in losing a friend is knowing he’s with god now. Be at peace mr Guerrero. LATINO HEAT FOREVER!!

I remember growing up as a kid in the 90's beinf a huge wrestling fan. Eddie was the reason I started watching WCW I loved his style and use to play wrestling with friends doing his frog splash. This video with all these legendary stars brought a tear to my eyes.. I loved Eddie hell we all did and I thank you for this video man. I needed to see it.

Eduardo Guerrero, damn. It brings me to tears because I never got to meet him nor see him wrestle whilst he was alive. I was only 6 months old. Eddie holds a special place in my heart and sometimes, I feel like he's always near me when I'm talking to him from down here to Heaven. I want to make Eduardo proud and I want to carry on his legacy. I may not be a wrestler but I hope he enjoys my tributes through gaming and entertainment. Anytime I am sad, I always watch his Addicted Promo because it fuels me to never give up and its not about the size of the dog in the fight, its about the size of the fight in the dog. When people bring up him not drawing as champion, I couldn't care less. Eddie was always going to be my favourite no matter what because his storyline from ashes to the top of the mountain is one of the most inspirational stories ever. I hope he is looking down smiling, I just hope that he is happy and that I'm doing his justice. Viva La Raza.

Thank you for doing this tribute, I saw your poem as well, and its great to see that you are continuing on the legacy of your favorite wrestler. Eddie was also my favorite wrestler as a kid and i'm 31, about 7 years older than you. Those are memories that I'm going to cherish forever. I am also from Texas and let me tell you that Eddie is an icon/idol here, especially with the Latino community. Even till this day when JBL is in character he gets eyeballs in Texas and big Latino markets, that's how great that rivalry was. He will always be missed and they were great memories as a kid.

Eddie truely paved the way for smaller guys and Latino Wrestlers. He is one of the greatest of all-time. I was 15 when he passed and cried for a whole week when he died. He brought me so much joy and knew how to make everyone laugh. R.I.P Eddie. Almost 16 years since his death and i still find it hard to watch his tribute shows.

The first time I saw eddie on tv was on raw back in 2000. Did not know who he was neither benoit malenko or perry saturn but regardless overtime i began to love eddies matches and his entrances. From his lowriders to 3 amigos frog splash crwative way to cheat matches but his talents in the match made him unstoppable.

Chris might would have died when Eddie was still around he did had. Very very enlarged heart and he had pretty good amount of brain cell damage from chair shots to the head

Me and my friends use to wrestle every morning at school in the auditorium I would literally shake my shoulders like eidde and do the frog splash off the stage. I would go to class and my knees would hurt like crazy that’s how much I loved that wrestle still a die hard fan.

I remember seeing Eddie in person years ago when I was in Dallas, Texas and he was a member of The Radicalz with Dean Makenko, Chris Benoit, and Perry Saturn. He was in a heel faction but I STILL cheered for him anyway which is a testament to the kind of guy he is. Rest in Peace Eddie you're missed immensely.

Eddie was so awesome and inspiring to me to watch and just his enthusiasm for life he was always smiling even through his personal issues, I didn’t get to see a lot of his career but I got to see his career towards the end, Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit were my favorite wrestlers back in the day,, but i specifically watching him win the WwE title against Brock Lesnar and I was really happy because he seemed legitimately at peace with his life and career I also have a disability so to see him make a personal comeback within his life and defeat his challenges like he did is awesome and an inspiration to me

It's crazy how the poem writer isn't the only one whos followed Eddie's career and has been touched so much by him without having met him. There's so many including myself. I'm gonna name my first son after him. Really goes to show how special he was. I'm still dumbfounded how theres not a film about his life. If you know his story in and out of the ring, it can definitely be a major motion picture.

I never got to see Eddie compete and I only really just started watching any sort of wrestling content recently, but I will say, its awesome that someone like you got impacted by Eddie so much, especially when, if I may be honest, you honestly look just a few years older than me.
If you wanna check it out, I did a video on my channel fairly recently regarding moments in wrestling history that could/should have gone differently.
No one made me smile and laugh like Eddie so when he passed away. My body didn’t know how to react. I broke down honestly. To this day I’m scarred.... miss you Eddie

The very first episode of Smackdown I've seen was when Eddie Guerrero with his hands tied behind his back was facing Paul Heyman. He became my favorite wrestler ever since. It was so entertaining watching Smackdown during his title reign where he would go "Orale mi Raza!" at the start of every episode and the way he beat Angle at WM 20 was so iconic, such a genius move. I bought tons of dvds and action figure about Eddie during the years and to this day I rewatch his matches. He was a great man and an amazing wrestler. WWE was never the same without him. He was the best.

I also would like to add that I'm Italian and if wrestling got so popular here during 2003-2005 it was thanks to Eddie Guerrero, he was the favorite wrestler of pretty much everyone who watched wrestling here (commentators included) because of his lie, cheat and steal gimmick.
