I used dry sandpaper from : P400-P600-P800 - P1200 then I switched to wet sand paper : P1500 P2000 P3000 after wet sanding I used Gyeon Compound to remove P3000 and for finish I used Gyeon Polish.For protection I used and I recomend Gyeon Trim,its ceramic cotaing for plastic.Thanks for watching this video and if you have questions let comment bellow :D *it takes around 1h30min for one headlight(with ceramic coating)

I do the same but on wet ,with water and sanding paper ,start with 1000 and after 2000 and 3000...after polished then.and on the end clear solution to protect from UV

Nice work man! That’s a lot of sanding steps though, I would go straight to the 3000 grit after the 1200, save yourself time.
Thanks ,sometimes if are highly damaged , you need to start sanding hardcore ..depends on headlight and damage

I agree, they definitely needed at least 600 grit to start. My process would’ve been 400,800,1200,3000 then compound and polish. In my opinion the sanding steps between the 1200 and 3000 aren’t necessary, the 3000 will level the 1200 sanding marks no problem.

@@MAKIMEDIA on headlights that aren’t too bad you can also sand with 600,1500, 3000 then compound and polish. Most headlights can be restored with those three stages of sanding, I would say 90% of them, rarely do you ever need anything more aggressive than 600 grit unless you need to level a deep scratch, scuff, remove thick clear coat failure from a previous restoration job, surface cracking. You can also do 600, 1000, 3000 in stages as well, if headlights are moderate in oxidation, you can do 1000, 3000 and then compound polish, ceramic coating or whatever protection you like. You can even sand with 1200 and go straight to compound and polish if they’re not too bad, a good compound will remove 1200 grit sanding marks. For the most part I’ve never had to go beyond 4 stages of sanding on any headlight, the most I’ve ever done is 240, 400, 800, 1500, 3000, you can actually stop at 1500 and then compound, but it’s always easier to remove 3000 grit sanding marks than 1500 grit sanding marks. In reality you can do any headlight with four stages of sanding at the most, 240, 400, 800, 1500, compound, polish, protection. For the most part I stay between one stage of wet sanding and at the most four, most of the time it’s 1-3 stages of wet sanding and then compound, polish, protection. Try it out one day, you’ll see that you can save a lot of time by simply eliminating sanding steps.

Izvana da mozes jer recimo cesto izblijede vanjske plastike budu sive i sa tim kad predjes vratis im crnilo,fabricku boju i drzi i 2 godine,a za unutra ti ne bih preporucio jer moze biti prejako..osim ako ti se svidja,u biti mozes znaci,to obnavlja plastiku i dosta je stiti od uv svjetla
Best way is to sand to 2000 and then use a good auto body clear coat and they'll last you for years without retreatment
Dobar posao uradjen 👌 Sta mislis o krauss ekscentricnoj masini s15 900 W ,270e ? Za neki pocetak ,lako se posle prebaciti na Rupes ako bude vise posla.
Moze kraus zasto da ne,al 270eura to je skoro kao rupes lhr 15 es ..ako ces puno davat para onda uzmi brend flex/rupes a a ako manje para onda kraus,liquid elements,makita..

@@MAKIMEDIA It’s glued together. It don’t open. Not sure how to attack that issue.
@christopherpardell4418 you can try to heat the glue with heat gun or hair dryer so it soften a little and then pry the lenses carefully of the case without damaging them (there is a lot of tutorials how to do it o yt) quite a bit of work but it's doable. 💪
@@oskarkropidlowski5300 Yeah, I’ve seen those, but when i pulled the headlights i found one had its wiring all rat chewed… so I got a couple bosch replacement headlights, used… but they only needed polishing on the exterior.
They look great but I think by the time I buy all that stuff and try and do it I might as well buy new ones
35 usd kit and 1 hr of your time vs 650-800 usd ****headlight set guess you ballinnn $$$
You need at least 3 hours of your time to scrub 😐
3-4 hours buuuut , you save lot of money because you dont need to replace headlights
