Just made these muffins last weekend! They are soooo delicious 😋 lemon zest made blueberry taste even better! I used almond flour and almond milk and they are still yummy 😋 thank you for the great recipe and awesome presentation as always! 👍💕😁

Next time i'll make sure not to over-mix, you did mention that in the video, which was helpful, but i still did it anyway out of habit. I also used spreadable, non-baking butter, if that makes sense, which might've also contributed to changing the texture slightly. Despite all that, they were soooo good and perfect for Mother's day, even if i made it late at night. Hello and welcome to my channel! Yes, I think you can make a cake from this recipe. Bake in preheated oven (no fan if possible, upper and lower heat) at 180°C. The timing depends on how big is your cake and on your oven...thinner cakes (made in large cake pans) bake faster than a taller cake (made in smaller cake pans). I think at least 25-35 minutes. It's ready when a toothpick comes out clean and dry from the center of the cake. Yes, you can use an electric mixer, but be careful to not overmix the batter, mostly flour!

Looks fluffy and delicious. I don't have blueberries, or fresh lemon. Can I use frozen strawberries and orange juice and zest? I don't know if strawberries go well with orange... And, in general, how can I use the frozen strawberries in baking. I want to feel the taste of a single fruit in my cake. Thanks in advance.
Hello Mariam! Strawberries usually release much water than blueberry while baking, so if you want to use strawberries, I suggest you to use them frozen and put them in your batter directly from the freezer (cut them if you can); or if you use fresh strawberries, cut them in pieces and place them between two kitchen papers to absorb water excess, for about 20-30 minutes. I don't like orange with strawberries...I suggest you to use only strawberries and some lemon juice if you can find it. Let me know! Hugs

Hey! Did you use the almond flour entirely in place of the flour? Can you please share more about the adjustments you did?
NEVER break your eggs into your batter. Break them in a separate Bowl so you can see if pieces of eggshell had fallen in or you have a bad egg.

Hello and welcome to my channel! Yes, I think you can make a cake from this recipe. Bake in preheated oven (no fan if possible, upper and lower heat) at 180°C. The timing depends on how big is your cake and on your oven...thinner cakes (made in large cake pans) bake faster than a taller cake (made in smaller cake pans). I think at least 25-35 minutes. It's ready when a toothpick comes out clean and dry from the center of the cake. Yes, you can use an electric mixer, but be careful to not overmix the batter, mostly flour!

Hi Mystique and welcome to my channel! I coat them with oil then with flour to avoid that they sink to the bottom of the muffins. You can use frozen blueberry too! Hi YF and welcome here! Yes, you're right, you can also put a bit more of milk, or less flour. Every flour is different and absorbs less or more liquid. Hello Mariam! Strawberries usually release much water than blueberry while baking, so if you want to use strawberries, I suggest you to use them frozen and put them in your batter directly from the freezer (cut them if you can); or if you use fresh strawberries, cut them in pieces and place them between two kitchen papers to absorb water excess, for about 20-30 minutes. I don't like orange with strawberries...I suggest you to use only strawberries and some lemon juice if you can find it. Let me know! Hugs
