Fun fact. You can see an old rescue bots character in the episode. After wedge, totally helped that old lady, when he sees bee and blades walk away, you can see Mrs. Neederlander

Thus kinda reminds me of the one episode where Bee shows up in the original rescue bots series and Blades goes all fanboy on him, its kinda endearing but at the same time Blades didn't have to shine to the bot lmao
for people confused about all that bumblebee merch, put it like this: in real life, wrestlers get action figures, in the aligned continuity, bumblebee fought in the war for Cybertron, killed Megatron, overthrew a corrupt cybertronian government, and he managed to kill off a PRIME (megatronus from RID). so bumblebee would obviously be a celebrity of some sorts in Cybertron
or at least a force to be rekoned with

the reason why they have the cyberverse designs is that a few years ago Hasbro teamed up with some art company to make more consistent designs for transformers characters, which explains why we see cyberverse designs on multiple pieces of TF promotional material like birthday cards, stickers, even video games.
the voice acting is because rescue bots academy is produced by the same guys who work on cyberverse
And that is utterly STUPID when they HAD established designs in the Aligned Continuity
Unless he just randomly decided to rescan for some bizzarre reason, the ONLY thing you'll accomplish is CONFUSING THE HELL OUT OF YOUR AUDIENCE!

I don't see rescue bots academy as canon. Despite it being a sequel. To me it's not Canon. It's an alternate universe where the events of rescue bots were the same but certain things were different like bumblebee having a voice and was connected to cyberverse

The reason Bee looks like Cybervese Bee is because Hasbro is going tor a more, "Unified Look". Personally I think it's a stupid idea because it causes people to think that two different continuities are one.
Agreed they where actually going to use his original rescuebots design in early concept art for this show. I hate how this confuses people. We shouldn't have to keep argue and debating on what countinuty this show in.

Kill Bee is likely a Kill Bill reference, based on the katana Bee appears to be holding in the poster.
I think the box on the right side of the shrine next to the ‘Bumblebee Teddy Bear' had a Volkswagen Bumblebee on it that resembled the one from the original cartoon.

The designs don't indicate if they are in Cyberverse or in Aligned because Aligned has the thing of chainging their designs depending the show, game or comic.
I think this is in the Aligned continuity because it's a secuel to RB.

It's an incredibly annoying and STUPID habit to have that they LITERALLY CHOSE to do for absolutely NO reason.
VOice Actors, OK, I get it. Some might not be available for whatever reason so you have to make do.
But designs? If you're doing an aligned continuity across multiple shows, the ONLY time you should change transformers designs is when they go from Cybertronian design to earth design.
ANY other times after that is going to confuse the hell out of everyone.
I just hope that blurr makes an appearence in the show to help set the record straight that this is in the aligned continuity

Edit: YES! According to tfwiki in the first Episode of Season 2 Hot Shot speculates that Blurr will become a Teacher in the Academy!

The "Kill Bee" thing is probably one of those names of some Fans Toys Bumblebee figures or some other company than Hasbro
It has Blades from Rescue bots where Bumblebee is clearly the incarnation from the Alined Continuity. They most likely changed Bumblebee’s design to that of Cyberverse for Rescue Bots Academy. Bumblebee and Optimus have clearly had separate designs between Transformers Prime (Beast Hunters included), Rescue Bots, and the 2015 Robots in Disguise shows. And beyond that both characters had their Prime designs at the same time as their Rescue Bots designs. The explanation is clearly for toy advertising because when Bulkhead and Ratchet show up in Robots in Disguise, they were clearly in their Prime designs with a change in art style to match Robots in Disguise due to the characters not having new toys made for them. The most recent animated design for Bumblebee is the Cyberverse version, so they changed Bumblebee’s design in Rescue Bots Academy to match.

And that’s great, but they needed to wait until AFTER the aligned continuity was over to start doing that.
It’s one thing when Bumblebee looked different in rescue bots Vs prime, because different animation styles and prime be woulda looked awful in Rescuebots animation.
Or Prime Bee V WFC games Bee, since we can chalk that up to a rescan.
But RID and Rescue Bots Academy have no excuses for why they needed new Bee designs. It’s stupid, it confuses the hell out of the audience, and that is something you do NOT want to do.
Hashro were complete idiots for it.

Well actually this show is also part in aligned continuity but few years after both RID and rescue bots the creator of the show change some characters to be different bcus due to the align continuity failure they have to change that’s why back in 2018 we see some characters design looking different because of cyberverse and that’s why the creators took the designs to make it look fresh and new so yeah
Edit: oh yeah they even change the voice actors so that’s why change it and also take a look at it og rescue bots designs do they change no right they stay the same except for Optimus bee and grim and also take a look at chief burns statue from the first it clearly states that this show takes place some time after events of rescue bots

I really like this episode because bumblebee is one of my favorite characters and so him with his last incarnations being referenced is awesome
Rescue Bots is still part of the Primeverse (I refuse to call it aligned as long as the games are considered part of it), it’s a sequel to Rescue Bots which was confirmed to be part of that universe.
The Games are part of the same Continuity just not the same Universe

my bets in relation that the Cyberverse Whirl AND the R.B academy are from a split spark BUT tooken on 2 differential forms 1 Male who's older and 1 Female that's younger. Sorta like a G1 Jetfire had the same thing when HE became the rocket with a platform transformer.

Actually, its only the same design. Rescue Bots Academy is still in the Aligned continuity. Hasbro now wants the Transformers to be more consistently like each other, instead of new designs every show.
