- It's finally here! The start of Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy season 2! The Recruits have returned and it's time to get back to class! This year, the Recruits will be assigned a mentor to help them build their individual skills as Rescue Bots! Who will get paired up with who?

Heatwave was a multi changer in the OG rescue bots
He still is but they didin't show it yet
Personally, I wish that they put QUICKSHADOW in!!! She was my favorite character in the oh Rescue Bots. I miss her. TwT

You know what would be Fun? If they introduce new Teachers in the next time they graduate a year (i mainly just want to see whirl and strongarm get paired up they are really cute)
Well to be honest, I was hoping Hotshot be paired with Red Alert a homage to Transformers Armada or a Sixchanger, Whirl paired with Prowl or her dad Whirl just to see an insane father and adorable daughter having a family bond, Medix like you said should be paired with First Aid, Hoist be paired with Grapple because it would be a homage to Grapple and Hoist from the G1, and Wedge paired with any of the members of Build Team from 2001 RID again another homage. It would be cool to see Autobots that we never seen before in the Aligned Continuity.
Red alert is probably a refugee but might be possible, Same with prowl, first aid and grapple, Whirl doesn’t have a father and the original whirl is probably dead
But at least we have the old rescue bots like dads now also their mentors are great especially the fact that heatwave loves hotshot it's adorable and all the enior rescue bots love the recruits it's so cute

When you mentioned quickswitch and great shot, I was surprised you remembered those obscure characters. I also agree that they could have become hotshot’s mentor.
I would have really like it if there were micromasters in this show to fill in as more cadets, I also think Strong arm, Salvage, Blurr, some decepticons like reflector and velocity should have appeared. when medix was excited to be with blades (who I never picture as a medic) I think his uncle ratchet should have been disapointed even though well conflict of interest.
Yeah, but there was a Ratchet picture on the lottery machine so maybe he couldn't be disappointed?
I would have wanted to see strongarm in this with whirl

@@sircharleston2712 adorable stuff isn’t really my thing, I like the story telling but it just makes things complicated, in the aligned universe, I like this show but I like rid just a tiny bit more, and tbh, cyberverse isn’t that much of a good show if I’m being honest, it’s ok, not good.

The basis and the voice are the same as cyberverse. But that doesn’t mean that he is the cyberverse version of Ratchet

hotshot is mentored by red alert as a homage to the oringinal hotshot or he could be paired with overide (fast cars) or jetfire (yes i did reference energon)
red alerts's stubborn attitude and hotshot's go getting could conflict and they learn from each other over the season, and after a while the two work together well and if the show did a time skip at the end we could see a adult hotshot with scatter shot and red alert to reference the cybertron dynaic they had.

Now that Blurr is mentioned you can see that this does not take place in the Cyberverse continuity
I think Rescue Bots Academy is in a hybrid continuity of Prime/RID2015 & Cyberverse!! (where it takes parts from both continuities)
I think that they only mentioned Blurr because he was in the original rescue bots. I’m quite certain this is in the same continuity because the designs of Ratchet and Bumblebee are almost the exact same! I hope this clears things up for you! X
@@mrskittykatowo4288 the War for cybertron games had the characters slightly based on their G1 designs and that took place in the aligned continuity. Just because they have the same design doesn’t mean they’re in the same universe

Hot shot gets hot rod. Whirl gets strong arm. Hoist gets grapple. Wedge gets bulk head. And medics gets redalert
On the note of The Protectobots, back before Rescue Bots Academy started production, I created an idea for a version of Defensor for the Rescue Bots. Heatwave as the Torso. Boulder as the Legs. And then Blades and Chase for the Arms. I even thought of a version that would include Blurr and Salvage. Blurr would be a Chestplate. And Salvagw would be a leg alongside Boulder.
y'know what, Megatron.
Megatron could be a really interesting addition to the show if handled properly.
Rescue Bots Academy, as you may know, shares a universe with Transformers: Prime, and at the tail end of TFP Megatron has a change of heart, ending the war for good. This makes it technically possible to bring him into the series, though I think it would only work as a one-off thing. While I am unsure why the former Decepticon leader would go to the academy, it would be quite interesting to see how the recruits, and the senior bots react to the big guy appearing on their doorstep.
I’m glad that Sludge appeared in a TF cartoon again. It’s been a long time.

What about Ultra Magnus as Hot shot's mentor and Perceptor for Medix? Ultra Magnus could make a good chemistry with Hot shot because of Ultra Magnus' following of rules snd Hot shot's impulsivity, meanwile Perceptor could teach Medix a lot about science.
I would like to see Perceptor with Hot shot. Such different bots but I think it would be hilarious
That’s actually not a bad idea, I don’t think it would help ultra Magnus to mentor at a school on earth when he should be helping say police or military on cybertron
Honestly I think that it would be cool if HotShot was paired with Optimus, I mean he was the one who invited him into the academy and give him his multi cog

They already had 2/5 with Grimlock and Bee.
I don’t think Fixit would be a mentor as he is the same size as Medix

I got into Rescue bots academy watching my siblings during the pandemic. Thought I was going to die first watching this but got sucked in and now a TF fanatic. But boy this opened up a lot of questions from 4,5,6 year olds about where baby bots come from. And who is Meds dad. And who is Hot shots dad and mom. I just said Hot Rod and Clobber

In the original show, Heatwave is a triple changer himself. He has his bot form, fire truck, fire swamp boat, and you could say that he is a quadruple changer since he has his dino bot form.

- Whirl and Whirl (possibly Cyberverse Whirl???)

-Medix and Red Alert (FEMALE Red Alert, just like in Animated)
-Hoist and Wheeljack (don't jugde me).
The Choices in the series were good, but I think mine would be more interesting (especially if CJ was like my interpretation [Autobot's weapon Specialist], it would be cool if he taught them Self-Defense and how to use a blaster).

Hot shot and Cliffjumper ( this is set place in the aligned continuity and cliff jumper did died in the first episode of prime so being trained by a dead Transformer is a bit creepy for hot shot himself)
Hoist and Wheeljack ( Wheeljack is much more of a warrior than an event unless you are referring to G1/DOTM and while it maybe good to teach him some self-defense lessons just in case but I just don't think that you know he may teach him some Wrecker style moves which are probably going to be a bad decision because you never know when the second Great cybertronian war May erupt)

Actually I think the protectabots In the same continuity as prime rescue bots robots in the skies 2015 and rescue bots academy I think blades was the only survivor with a battle they had with either I think a hypnotize Superion or bruticus
I think all the recruits got the perfect mentors except for Hoyst. Sure now I think grimlock is a great mentor for him but I think boulder would have been his mentor because they both are engineers and they are contruction bots.

The results and why:
Hot shot would be thought to be a firefighter by heatwave and for hot shot to learn more skills
Whirl can be thought flying lessons by blades
Wedge could be with boulder cuz boulder can teach him to build stuff
Medix can be teamed up with ratchet cause they’re both medics
Hoist with grimlock for hoist to get over his fears of dinobots.
But Blades is also a medic
