Literally the only Tutorial on how to get the loginscreen with accouts without passwords. Thank you so much you saved me a alot!
Looked for such a proper solution for a long time! Works fine! Thanks a lot!!
OMG you saved me so much time and heartbreak! keep up the great work
GENIUS! I was trying to setup windows 10 for a couple of 70 year old's with the least amount of learning and efforts for them. Initially I had to create an account for auto logon, then auto run a logoff command; but this method is much cleaner and elegant.
Excellent and clear step by step guide. Thank you.
I really appreciate for uploading this to the point video.
thanks for the clear example, life saver for my last school project
TY, TY, TY!
One note: in regedit you can type in the search bar instead of endlessly scrolling through options.
great teaching .thank you very much !
Excelent !! The unique trick that work in my case , i've a user with password and another with no pwd , and i dont want to logon automatically to the last used account on win 11 startup ! Thanks very much!
for me it wont let me change the setting. it doesn´t say why tho... As admin I can´t even change the "System" Tab...
Thank you! Very helpful
Dude, you’re an F’ing legend! Thanks so much!
Right back at you man, glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you so much it's so annoying for long long time now
It works. Thank you so much .
Hi thanks. I can't do anything that requires admin permission so this wasn't helpful but hopefully it helps someone. I get the prompt to modify but only the NO button is provided.
This worked perfectly THANK YOU. So many other solutions that didn't work. WIN10 Home Build 19042
Great expectation it works thanks
I recently upgraded Windows 10 to Windows 11. I used to have auto login on my previous windows 10. Now I have followed the steps you have shown to turn off auto login.
But the problem is that when I turn on the laptop, two accounts with the same name are showing.
Previously, I had not an extra account.
Thank you very much!
works thanks man
Not working on 1803.
It still checking enable to zero after restart
Thank you very much, this is working well! :)
Bro you save my laptop thank you!!!
I have the same issue. My wife's account ( no password ) signs on every time I startup the PC. My account is password protected. I have the latest Windows 10 ( 1903 ). From what I've read from other users, this fix is good only until Windows updates, after any update, settings are reverted back, and fix must be performed again. I'm sorry, I don't want to have to do this "every" time there's an update. Why is something so basic and popular, unavailable on a system that no one can seem to avoid? I wish there would be extended support for Win 7 ( which I upgraded from ), I certainly would welcome using that again.
Thank You!
my pc thoes not have the autentication folder
Thank you!
Thanks dude your awesome
Right back at you man, glad it helped :D
Thank you! The permissions settings were confusing on the forums and this fixed it! Thank fucking God.
A small, but very inconvenient annoyance Microsoft doesn't seem to care to fix. Fuckers...
Anyway, if this doesn't work for you, also change the "ClearAutoLogon" registry (which is above "UserSwitch") to 1, as well. That's what I did before seeing this video.
If the account is first being set up, while it is logging on, hit ctrl alt del and hit switch user and do this
Thank you so much this helped slot
Glad it helped! :)
Thanks bro
Thank you
Also works with windows 11 (2022}
OMG TYSM
You're welcome man, enjoy! :)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\UserSwitch
Change value of the key Enabled from 1 to 0
That's the same exact thing that I thought. But he changed it from a 0 to 1 which doesn't make sense.
You talked WAY to fast the video helped but it was excruciating to follow along
poor tutorial , cant make out the word to type into box as guy mumbles his way through whole thing, maybe this could solve my problem but mumbling a waste of my time
Sounded fine to me. Perhaps there is something wrong with your speakers/headset or sound setting.
Sounded and looked fine to me to. You should make an appointment with your optometrist and audiologist.
